"During our one week in List we had dinner in the 'Alter Gasthof ' three ( 3!!!) times, that says it all.First time we had special friesian food, plaice, one with bacon bits and one with Northsea shrimps, big portions and delicious. As starter we had the soup of the day, Gazpacho, perfect for the hot day A bottle of Red wine, here we would like some more light ones which can be chilled. 2 apéro, water, coffee. For us 2 we payed € 173.00. The next 2 times we payed less as we changed to wine by the glass.The Restaurant is famous for their lobster and I had one. 700gr and prepared to crack easy. Overall it was very good and we recommend it. The rooms look like somebodies living room, cosy and comfortable."

"Waren jetzt über die Jahre das dritte Mal im Königshafen. Schön dass es auf Sylt noch ein paar konstante Größen in der Gastronomie gibt. Korrekter aufmerksamer Service. Sitzen gerne draußen im Garten. Und wieder sehr positive Erfahrungen mit dem was aus der Küche kommt. Z.B. die Krabbensuppe, der Rotbarsch nach Omas Art oder das sehr leckere Rinderfilet. Bleibt zu hoffen dass auch dieses Lokal in ein paar Jahren nicht wegen Personalmangel schließen muss. Update 2023: auch dieses Jahr wieder ein perfekter Frühabend im Garten mit ganz tollem Essen und Service. Daumen wieder hoch!"

"Das L.A. Sylt ist zweifellos einen Besuch wert. Es ist etwas für diejenigen, die eine urige Authentizität mit einem Hauch von Eleganz schätzen. Dieses Strandhaus trotzt den rauen Sylter Winden und verströmt einen gewissen Charme durch die fehlende Reservierungsoption. Hier wird sich definitiv noch um die Gäste gekümmert. Obwohl es auch andere Gerichte gibt, kommt man hier vor allem für die Austern. Beachtenswert ist die fast ausschließliche Auswahl an Alfred Gratien Champagner, was für Genießer eine wichtige Information sein könnte."

"Unfreundlicher Service, völlig unflexibel. Kaum Gäste und dennoch wurden Gäste um 19.20 Uhr schon abgewiesen . An einem Freitag Abend, wurden wir noch nicht mit dem Essen fertig, schon um 19.30 Uhr aufgeräumt. Auch die Terasse wurde bereits geschlossen. "also here there is the quality system gastronomy typical for gosh, and eating is not to be contested for our taste. as in ifingstedt also, you order your eating at a counter and get it later in a big crowd. in the local there are hardly inviting places (too many small high tables), in the upper stage it is to some extent too dark or at the windows unpleasant hot when the sun appears on the building and if the whole thing is still underpainted with freddy quinn and hans albers, we can also not keep eating at laune."
