Taipan Chinese - Menu

How can you make a simple bag of chips so dry, hard and tastless? I wish I had saved my money and just gone home to make a piece of toast!

This was my first time ordering from Taipan, and the delivery arrived within the hour as promised. The food was outstanding, and I will definitely be ordering from them again.

My first stop when visiting friends is always here. Fantastic quality and love the Chicken and Beef curry mixed. This is my favourite Chinese you can also tell this is a local favourite because it is always busy

Ordered 6 pm for delivery.told 1.45 ok not to bad finally turned up 2.50 hrs later Really guys, the food is great but maybe need to sort out your delivery times. Especially with what we’re up against in the crisis we’re in.

The best Chinese takeout in Wycombe was disappointing tonight due to delivery delays. We placed an order at 6pm and were still waiting at 9pm. When we called to inquire about the status, we were initially told it would be another 25 minutes. After waiting an additional 30 minutes and calling back, we were told it would only be 10 more minutes. When we asked if the order had been sent out yet, we were informed that it hadn't. We ultimately decided to cancel our order. This issue needs to be addressed by the restaurant.

This was our first time ordering from this restaurant and we were instantly disappointed. We waited for almost 3 hours for our order to arrive, only to find out that one item was incorrect. When we called to address the issue, the staff was unapologetic and unpleasant. We felt we had no choice but to just accept it. The food was decent, but the poor treatment we received as customers was unacceptable. We will not be ordering from them again. Treat your customers with respect. We do not recommend this restaurant - save your money and time and dine elsewhere.

I have ordered several times last few years and they always get my order wrong as at least two dishes usually don't arrive but no refund . Ring and complain they will tell you it’s on the computer for next time but try and place an order and ask for your missing items suddenly the main guy don’t known what you are talking about and become very rude and condescending . Had enough of this rubbish cheap and cheerful food is ok nothing to get excited about but awful service and attitude . I will pay a bit more and get my full order won’t go back again , definitely go elsewhere that’s not running this scam

We were recommended this takeaway by our daughter who has used it quite often and raves about it. We ordered Set Meal C for three persons to be shared amongst 4 of us. As we live within 2 miles it was free delivery. We were advised maximum 35 minutes waiting time but it arrived in 20 minutes. The food was really good. Massive spring rolls, tasty sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, chow menu, Hong Kong beef in oyster sauce, pork with mushrooms and onions. Plus a bag of prawn crackers. 4 of us struggled to eat it all because the portions are so generous. We thought it was first class food, delivered promptly and fantastic value at £22.50. Brilliant.

Well, have been to this place a total of 5 times, first time was good, nothing special but value for money was alright and I couldn’t fault them so naturally we thought lets go back, then second time not amazing, asked for half a duck to find shards of bone in the food. Most places have the bone in the pot which isn’t an issue, but shards of bone which is hard to go through all the shredded meat to decipher wasn’t amazing. Third time ordered beef in black bean sauce beef was as tough as a leather shoe so i stopped getting that option. Fourth visit decided to opt for chilli beef as the other two disappointed me and my partner to find the smell and taste of fish which i am sure was due to fryi...
