"In the Markthalle on a packed Wednesday lunch, there's little else to do but make a beeline for an empty seat and then figure out which restaurant in belongs to. A figure of speech really, because you have to order your food directly at the counter and then sit down. I was expecting nothing more and nothing less than some standard "Asian" food, i.e. your choice of fried rice / noodles, your choice of chicken / beef / shrimps, and take a wild guess while checking out the pictures on the menu. Sadly, one has become accustomed to doing this in most "fast-food"-type "Asian" places since the taste rarely varies. Generally, these city-centre places also tend to be packed since office-goers are expected to eat more or less at the same time. Surprise!! This place made really excellent food. Unfortunately I don't remember the name, but the number of the dish was 301. Typical flat, broad noodles with chicken/sprouts/brown sauce, but somehow they managed to make it a) not too oily, b) spiced just right, with only a twinge of garlic, and it dawned on me that I had found an "Asian" place where you can actually taste the food, and not just the sauce. It was nearly a revelation. I highly recommend this place, as it looks just like any other, but clearly they're putting an effort in their food preparation that others are not. Very, very tasty. The service is a little bit on the slow side (considering they don't take orders at the table), but with this quality food at this price, I'm not complaining."

Fine. Thai dishes, just a few minutes' walk from the train station. Other Asian foods such as Chinese, Indonesia... but will recommend Thai. Price reasonable.

Many good decisions. We had Pad Thai and Green Curry. Both were excellent, but the Green Curry was pretty hot. If that bothers you then try to demand a milder version. The waitress was very friendly, attentive and charming.

Simple but effective asian restaurant with a mix of Chinese, Thai and Malaysian dishes all freshly served with efficient service. For a fuller flavour go for one of the hotter dishes. The Dim Sum was a little disappointing.

Wir waren schon öfters in der Markthalle, aber zum ersten mal im TANG SORIYA. Bestellt haben wir gebratene Reisnudeln mit Crevetten und Nudeln in Sauce mit Crevetten. Beide hatten einen total verbranntem Geschmack. Als wir reklamierten hat der unmotivierte Koch nur die Augen verdreht und abgewunken.Nein, wir können das Restaurant nicht empfehlen!

The Massaman-Curry was INCREDIBLE! My husband got the pad Thai and was also very satisfied! FYI I personally despised coriander and there was a very weak trace in the spring rolls, so caution, if you also hate: just to mention because I never...have coriander in my spring rolls before that would not even have seen the possibility. Amazing food here!!!
