"We hadn 't planned on going into the town, so we had a bit of a wander and happened across Tantaluna. Despite us not having booked a table the friendly and accommodating staff managed to find us a slot and squeezed us in. First of all, the descriptions of the specials from our waiter were like a meal in itself, and I mean that in a good way they should sell CDs of just him describing dishes. Food choices done, and a nice bottle of wine recommended and we were off! We were given little amuse bouches of watermelon gazpacho with balsamic and croutons while we waited for our starters, and while they didn 't appeal to all of us (surprised me, I didn 't think I liked watermelon but I enjoyed it it was a nice touch of service. The starters were exceptional, scallops on a polenta and beetroot biscuit with pears (I think and raspberry sauce was top notch, and we persuaded our son to experiment with the tuna in wasabi batter (a.k.a. Holy Balls! and couldn 't resist assisting him with them ; For main courses, we had a fillet steak, the fancy fat marbled steak off the specials menu, and a spaghetti carbonara. A nice touch was that one of the staff came and showed us the special steak before it was cooked. The carbonara was a flavour bomb of intense meat. All in all, again, great cooking and delicious. The staff were attentive (but not overly so , friendly, and clearly passionate about their food. Naturally, all of this excellence doesn 't come cheap, but for a special night out or if you 're not planning on eating out for the whole week then it 's absolutely worth the splurge. Highly recommend this absolute gem of a restaurant, we 'll definitely be back the next time we 're in Correlajo."

Fantastic food and service. The staff are friendly, informative and attentive. Recommend the baby squid, scallops and above all, the star of the starter the battered prawns with almonds and mango sauce. DELICIOUS. The salt crust baked sea bream was also superb. EXCELLENT.

This restaurant is for us the main attraction for visiting Corralejo and it didn’t disappoint. Different from the usual restaurants with their huge menus, Tantaluna has a small menu which is superbly cooked and presented. We kept going back because it is by far the best restaurant in Corralejo.

Went there twice last year and it was great. Went last night and standards have slipped. The service was very slow and the limited menu had not changed since last year. My wife s fish was cold and at €116 for the bill it needs to be special. Please get that snap and enthusiasm back . I know you can.

Very expensive and still hungry. We requested the Duck Breast and advied they are very largee and for 2 people. We thought ould still be oky. 32 Euro for 2. Not a big Duck Breast and while the Sweet Potato Mash was very tasty you barely got a couple of fork fulls. Food was nice but nothing special. Had much better food for a lot less right on the Marina. Had to go for ice-cream after this. View menu

tantaluna remains one of my favourite restaurants in absolute: every time I go back to corralejo this is a must. The first time, years ago, I came to nights in days. this time, in days, and only because the first nights, without having booked, there was too much waiting for a table. Everything deserves compliments, from scatting to the quality of food, without forgetting the service always very attentive and courteous. To try!

I've been eating a few days ago with my husband, we've been living for years in corralejo, our son has advised us several times to go there to eat, had, we've gone and I have to say that it was a pleasant surprise, it's the first restaurant that makes dishes completely different from the usual, they're specialties, a delight for the palate and also for the view, presented impeccably, the staff is very friendly and very little, compliments to all staff

We were very welcome. the restaurant is very “Italian” which often a pledge of excellent cuisine. We ordered a tuna net "Titaki Road" unfortunately a little too cooked and a duck magret, which was not at all served as planned. our remark at the end of the meal was not taken seriously. This really upset us because, as a Franco-German couple, we know perfectly how a duck magret must be presented, with the cooking requested. So we asked for the check and we left without taking dessert. However, the reason why we will not come back, despite a very sought-after and delicious kitchen, is quite different ... chef, look at your dishwasher in the kitchen! There are some intolerable things. and you kn... View menu

had seen an evaluation of this place somewhere and to see how corralejo is quite unessed to eat from somewhere half decent that we have booked with our Spanish friends. must say it is not much to see, but eating was actually very good and they can explain the dishes in English very well. a special starter was bunuelos de atun con wasabi, which is perfectly cooked like fried balls of thunfisch and wasabi, beautiful and spicy followed by seafood spaghetti. we returned twice and the fresh fish that was boiled in the salt was very good with a selection of fish. in the did everything we had was pleasant and specials are shown to them on a chalkboard, fully recommend this place but we prefer to si...

I was really disappointed with the lack of customer care where the owner/manager seemed focused around profit opposed to customer service. I had booked a table for 4 for my family. Upon arrival the restaurant had 2 tables of 4 vacant and so we asked for the one more inwards to shelter from the strong breeze you experience in the alley . We were told was not available. This I thought was fair enough although couldn’t understand why this was the case unless other group of 4 had specified that table. I am aware restaurant sit groups on the outer tables first so looks busy all time for passing trade. So we sat down and the manager twice rearranged the configuration to a 5 and then a 7 to accommo...
