"As lovers of tapas and paella, myself and my husband were excited to visit here on a date night away from our children. We ordered a mini paella each, garlic mushrooms, bread board with Alioli, spicy potatoes, calamari, meatballs and more (I can’t remember specific names as they were on the menu . We had to send all our food back it was like bland baby food that you buy ready made. I’m not sure what we were served but that was not tapas (and certainly not paella! . We know we’re not in Spain but as it’s a ‘proper’ restaurant that supposedly specialises in Tapas (it’s literally in the name , we thought it would be a good standard. I make better paella/tapas at home and we’ve eaten MUCH better at other places. Our waiter told us it was all cooked fresh and then when we double checked, he said it was all reheated food. (We guessed as much as we couldn’t see proper cooking facilities when passing the kitchen, just microwaves and ovens . It was so bad that I lost my appetite for the rest of the night, the thought of eating made me feel sick."

Excellent food as always, service with a smile, what’s not to like about this place.

Lots of choices of different foods. Good prices. Arrived early but was plenty of tables so the staff accommodated us.

Ordered two paellas and expected a paella pan with enough to feed at least 3 people but no it was a small plate with rice and chicken in it.

Fantastic service and absolutely delicious food! The music was a little loud but we were sat particularly close to the speaker. Would definitely go back again :

The food is good authentic Spanish tapas but it is in the pricey side. When we've been before there has been traditional Spanish music playing, which adds to the atmosphere but this time it was very loud banging music.

Ordered olives to start with, £4 for only 7 olives which were not very nice, came out of a very large jar. Mentioned to waiting staff who said they were Spanish olives. Wouldn’t order them again. My friend and I had the Canarian chicken skewers which were very nice but the accompanying potatoes were soft and soggy. Waiting staff were friendly and accommodating. One male member of staff who was either behind the bar or just walking around the restaurant area was wearing scruffy jeans with a large rip in the back and white trainers that were absolutely filthy. Not sure what position he held but he looked totally unprofessional. When we received the bill there was a 12.5% service charge added w...

We chose here because we thought you can’t go wrong with tapas. We were very wrong. We arrived and waited to be seated. We were left waiting and ignored by 2 members of staff. Eventually we got someone’s attention and got seated. The food was disappointing. Not very flavoursome. We ordered an aubergine dish which was supposed to be served with a goats cheese mousse but it was some sort of goats cheese sauce that was very overpowering and smelt (and tasted) like sick. The same sauce was served on the tomato salad, the sauce made these two dishes inedible (and I love strong goats cheese) The calamari was very bland and the batter was very powdery. There was a member of staff who maybe was new...

"I was well impressed with this restaurant. I usually eat at F&B..and I really quick understand the differences between food and taste, between restaurants. I know also what is the standard for F&B. Bad service you keep to remember and will not make you a returning customer. This is the only restaurant in a 100 miles radius I never complained or my food was never raw. I also appreciated on my last visit a lady who was cleaning she looked more from management as she didn’t had an uniform, setting a good example in cleaning for her employees and customers by cleaning tables very thoroughly, all the spots covered. Well impressed by that especially as I work with Covid patients and I know how important is to be infectious free. The separation areas they build are important as well. The lady who was cleaning I didn’t manage to see her badge as she is a fast walker but she had a colourful mask , the only one who was actually wearing one and yes I know you can choose if you want to wear them but still for me was important as she was trying to protect others in a close environment with covid roaming around everywhere. I held myself for over 2 weeks to write this review as I was to busy but like I said I will be a returning customer.Kudos to her ! Kudos to all managers who are setting the bar high and lead by example! I eat here roughly every 2 weeks and I’m always very well treated. My favourite restaurant, if 10 stars were to be available, 10 stars from me! From the 3 restaurants that Sheffield has, this is by far the best one! Keep it up, guys!"
