"Our visit did not start well having arrived at exactly our booking time, were asked for name etc.. and then promptly ignored for 15 20 minutes by every single member of staff. Usually if a table is not ready you might be prompted to take a seat at the bar for a drink to relax but being left in limbo, by the front door, with no communication is not very nice. The barman also ignored us so... We were eventually seated after managing to get someone's attention. Ordering was fairly prompt and the food that came was OK. Not bad in anyway but also not particularly special. Some elements of the antipasti were very good. The pasta was cooked well and tasted nice but I can't rave about either dish. If you've been to Italy/Sicily or a good Italian restaurant elsewhere you know what I mean. By this point we didn't fancy staying for dessert but did order a coffee and a liquor coffee a coffee and a straight liquor arrived instead. The bill came and we had charged us for bread that had never arrived (the table next to us had also complained about that). On an increasingly rare opportunity for a date night I didn't think either was worth arguing about so paid and left. We came away feeling you might have to know the owner (who seems to be acting in a slightly odd front of house role) or be known enough to qualify for a picture for the wall (or Instagram for people who care about that) to get a decent service here. A shame and re reading some of the negative reviews I had seen before I can relate."

Got the pre theater 2 course meal. Food was delicious and we got done with plenty of time to make the theater.

Good food and excellent friendly service. Provides some more interesting than your standard Italian fare. Good value considering the central location and compared with a lot of the tourist trap restaurants which surround it.

we spent a very nice Sunday dinner in this beautiful Sicilian restaurant! eating was brilliant, respectful of the true Sicilian culinary tradition! I am Sicilian and often feel homely, so I was happy to find a place where I could feel like home and find all the aromes of my kindness! the service was very good and attentive, the portions very generous as they would expect from a Sicilian restaurant, thank God! we had caponata and arancini, crocchette and panelle as starter and pastas as main. it was all so good, but we were so full that we couldn't make it dessert! we will definitely be back for them!

We spent a very nice Sunday lunch at this lovely Sicilian restaurant! The food was brilliantly executed, respectful of the true Sicilian culinary tradition! I am Sicilian myself and often feel homesick, so I was happy to find a place where I could feel like home and find all the flavours of my childhood! The service was very good and attentive, the portions very generous just like you would expect from a Sicilian restaurant, thank God! We had caponata and arancini, crocchette and panelle as a starter and pastas as a main. It was all so good, but we were already so full up that we couldn’t make it to the dessert! We’ll be definitely back for them! View menu

A mixed review because of a mixed experience. Very convenient for Harold Pinter Theatre and one of us was a la carte while the other was on Pre-Theatre menu. Aware we were going to the Theatre, it took a very long time just to receive garlic bread, and when it did, it was burned. My friend had to cut the blackened crust off as there was no time to send back and wait again. The item was not removed from the bill. My friend had the a la carte fish of the day but firstly there was confusion amongst the staff as to what it was and secondly it was rather average. I on the other hand had a good food experience with the Pre-Theatre menu (aubergine dish, then Chicken dish) both delicious though the...

our visit did not begin well to arrive exactly at our booking time, was asked for names etc. and then immediately ignored 15 20 minutes by each employee. in the rule, if a table is not ready, they can be asked to relax a seat at the bar for a drink, but in the limbus, at the front door, without communication is not very beautiful. the barman also ignored us. we were after the administration to get someone attention. the order was quite fast and the food that came was ok. not bad in anyway, but also not special. some elements of antipasti were very good. the pasta was well cooked and tasted beautiful, but I can't have both disher rave. when they were in Italy/Sicily or a good Italian restaura...

"GIVE IT A GO!!! Chupitos is such a lovely welcoming restaurant me and my family have been frequent visitors for quite a few years. We have previously been for Sunday dinners, birthdays, mothers day, fathers day, new years eve, and the odd Friday and Saturday night. The food is amazing and always plenty of options all freshly cooked and well portioned. The cocktails are also just as good as any London cocktail bar. Yes sometimes when it is busy or we have come with a very large table we have had to wait a bit but you would get that in most reasonable priced restaurants as they limit their staff to keep costs down. Also their food is cooked fresh and it is soo tasty it is worth the wait. While you browse the menu order a basket of bread with their in house aioli it is amazing. You have to try the cheese and chorizo or the scallops to start followed by the fillet steak with Padron peppers or a roast beef dinner with their glazed veg and roast pots is soo good. If you have room for dessert then all the options are delicious so maybe share and try them all! I have not given a review before as this is not something I generally do, but on our visit this weekend when we inquired how business was doing Katie expressed concern about how a bad review with false allegations could effect her business and she was upset at being called a racist I felt bad for not giving a them a review before so thought I would make sure to do it this time.
