"one of the most recommended cafes in the city of Corbridge, in the center, joto in front of the church of st. and not far from the river. very well decorated and modern is the ideal place to have tea or coffee with local and artisanal pastry (e.g., scone with butter and jam.) also a small restaurant, but to drink something informal and without the availability of alcoholic beverages. Very good sandwiches and soups. is not the most recommended place for a serious meal, for Spanish, but for a quick snack is ideal or just to rest a little, even make a small dough (depending on the time of visit.) two things to highlight, staff jovén wants to please and work, as well as prices, more than affordable."

Fabulous cafe, a very welcome break from a long bike ride. Good coffee and a good range of snacks and delicious cakes and scones. Pleasant friendly staff.

beautiful environment. great service. nice eating. coffee rather burned/bitter taste. toilets clean, but very badly illuminated and odour of moisture and needs attention.

it's a past since I visited here last, but if ever, it's even better than before. the coffee is great and a local brand to boot! the paninis and sandwiches for lunch were delicious and just a bit different. n everything in all, we had a nice lunch here.

We have just visited for the first time and were delighted. Plenty of seating enough space apart to feel safe, staff all wore face coverings and everything was well cleaned. We enjoyed hot drinks at much better value than nearby cafés, and were pleased to...find I could add cream and mallows to my hot chocolate. The cakes are clearly freshly made as they are delicious and beautifully presented. Incredibly quick service and staff were eager to please and friendly to chat to. We will be back! Thank you

A friend and I who visit Corbridge a few times a year always stop at this cafe. We came on Friday to sit in the sunshine round the back of the cafe but we were told that unfortunately they were no longer allowed to serve...there and had to take the tables away due to the landlord not allowing them anymore. It is a huge shame as the views over the Tyne are amazing and I feel sorry for the staff having to tell customers about this, as there were a few who asked during our visit. Such a shame for a business who has kept open through the constant hardships that came their way during the past 2 years.

Quality sums up this lovely tearoom: this is not a place to get FULL meals, but cakes, sandwiches and snacks. Nothing here was too much trouble for the hosts, generous with the size of teapot and cake slices. No request was refused re extra water,...milk, sugars etc and they supply a lovely range of homemade cakes. Importantly for visitors to this lovely medieval and Roman town this tearoom stays open later than all the others which means you can have tea later in the afternoon when you have finished exploring the battlefield sites around the town without having to spoil your afternoon by having afternoon tea before three!
