"Had Sunday dinners delivered today through Deliveroo. The restaurant contacted me to say they had no drivers so they would deliver it themselves. Wow it was worth the wait. The meat was falling apart and the veg was lovely would definitely order again. Next time I may book for a sit down meal though as it was beautiful"

"very nice eating tonight with my two young, friendly reception of the staff. had the 16oz steak that was cooked for perfection and the rice pudding was to die for not many places have this on the menu. hop house lager 13 to wash everything. will go back because the lamm shank saw the dame on the table behind ordered 'mint'."

"This is where to go for for proper pub grub. Absolutely stunning food, I always go for the lasagne because its my fave but have come here with family who have had different things off of the menu half roast chicken, salmon, pie etc) and have all enjoyed! The chips are delicious i do think theres a slightly smaller portion of them lately but its a big meal within itself and very filling so it's probably judt me being gutsy. The cheesey garlic bread is to die for and the onion rings..yummy. The staff are always so welcoming and accommodating and if your eyes are bigger than your belly like mine are they always provide recyclable food containers to take it home if needs be!"

"Attended here for dinner last night with my family as my parents had previously been before. The starters were much enjoyed, but after waiting quite some time for our mains we were less than pleased. My mother had the salmon, of which was dry and completely over cooked, her chips were also very undercooked which was the same for my step father. My partner and I ordered pizzas, when they were delivered to the table I noticed mine looked less than appetising in comparison to his. The cheese had gone tough after being out of the oven for a while but then sat under a hot lamp. When a waitress came over to check if everything was okay, we explained that we were less than satisfied. She said that my partners pizza had been dropped on the floor so they had to remake his, and as a result the remaining meals were just sitting until his new meal was ready. We were given a 10% discount off each meal, which equated to an insulting £7 off, that still left us with a £145 bill. It would have been preferred that someone informed us our dinner would be a slightly longer wait, and they had remade all of our meals rather than sending out food of a lower quality. Unfortunately will not be returning."

"my wife and I thought we would invite this restaurant for our 10-year anniversary. I say the most, eating was fantastic, eating was very well cooked and the service was fantastic, we simply went in without booking. was busy and we had to wait for a table only 2 minutes. it is really a good value and was shocked when we got the bill, so I gave a good tipp will go back there definitiw."
