"The curry was good and priced well. However, I cannot get over how extortiate the prices for the starters are when they are so tiny! £15 for a shared starter and we were both so disappointed. They also forgot to give us half the order and, when we had to go back for it, didn't try to make up for it in any way. If you are paying that much for, what is frankly just mostly deep fried stuff, you expect higher standards."

The restaurant was average, with good food but on the pricey side for the quality. It wasn't bad, but the atmosphere was lacking despite being busy.

This Thai restaurant serves authentic and delicious food. I highly recommend trying the Som Tum (papaya salad) and Weeping Tiger (grilled beef). The flavors are reminiscent of what you would find in Thailand, as the restaurant is run by Thai people. The service was attentive and speedy. I highly recommend this place!

"We stayed here ten years ago and thought it was wonderful and worth every penny. We were so excited to return, but really Disapointed. The grounds are lovely and we were pleased with our room. The children loved the outdoor space and the pool What really let us down was the food and service. There was no luxury here. The family dining choices were poor. The children's meal was bad one had fish gougons and sweet potato fries which were very salty. The other two had pizza, the small was served as half a pizza, the large was a conventional round shape. Both were shop bought bases (cardboard) with grated Cheddar on the top. Something I would not feed them at home let alone expect in a supposedly high end dining. My husband's steak was chewy. My main, whole plaice with creamed potatoes, the potato was served in a ceramic dish and it was cold. It was taken away and then took ten minutes to return by which point I had eaten the fish. The food was incredibly expensive considering how poor the offerings were. The next day we ate a very late lunch in Bath so we would not have to eat at the hotel. The breakfast buffet area had some nice items but was really understocked and allowed to run to empty. The staff functioned but not at a steady rate, we found the service slow and the staff disinterested. Such a contrast to our previous visit. The person in charge we found sullen and felt as if our presence was an inconvenience. When we walked through to the dining areas we would hop out of the staff'so way for fear of being bulldozed. When we left the receptionist was polite but did not ask if we enjoyed our stay. A week later I had an email to complete a survey and nobody got in touch despite the same feedback as given here. Very dispointing. Lovely room and surroundings but poor food and poor attitude from staff. Last year we stayed in a hotel that cost 65% less than Wooley Grange and had a much better experience."
