"Worth making the trip out to this beautiful village. The food was excellent, and the indoor and outdoor spaces are really great excellent views from the back terrace. The service was a little bit slow and there seemed to be a little bit lacking in communication between staff (repeated visits back to the table to clarify our orders etc). But overall an experience I’d be happy to repeat."

we sat in the garden top terrace and had a tasty Sunday dinner. good child menu. dog-friendly, simply not in the restaurant that is fair enough. beautiful ales on hahn, well maintained. friendly helpful staff, not too fussy. I look forward to going back when I get the chance. highly recommended

Found this pub through a review on The Telegraph online. I simply cannot disagree with any element of the review. From the warm welcome, to the very comfortable interior and views from the gardens to die for, it was all perfect. This is all before we get to the food which was exceptional. We cannot rate this high enough
