"Located on the main street of the bridge of allan, this family restaurant is the corner of the largest influx of casual dining rooms in the entire central scot area, on weekends there are families that make more than 70 kilometers to enjoy the menu of this charming place in principle does not attract much attention, and the main dishes are centered on the archived fish and chips, an entire British emblem. but it is worth remembering that one of the old Scottish exquicitos has always been the white meat of the merluza and especially the cod, the two main fish that are served in this place. always guaranteed as a product of dayfish, fresh, delicious and at very good price personally, I have never been very friendly with fish chips, but tempted by the reputation of the place I have gone on several occasions: agricultural products, local productions and fish more than fresh ... along with olive oil, you can do miracles in the world of fish chips ... as it has been the case."

The fish and chips are up there with the best. Good portion size, I had small, that was plenty. Perfect chip shop chips, crispy batter on the fish. Perfect.

Got a fish super tonight 5th July 2023 was one off the worst fish I have ever had. Very dry looked like it had been sitting for a long time. If thus is the product there are serving its not cheap) I wouldn't recommend it.

2 times in one day! It’s that good. Soup at lunchtime then on to Dundee for granddaughter’s pantomime. Then back for fish and chips on way home. The staff were very pleasant and even gave me some teabags as I’d forgotten to bring my own. Definitely be back

Food was freshly cooked and piping hot. The small portion was more than enough with the size of fish and amount of chips. The large would have been sheer greed. Both the staff behind the counter were very nice. And the place was busy for a Monday night. Will return. Worth another visit

It's probably the best fish and chips I've ever had in all honesty. Lovely cafe to sit down in, and the service was very quick. The chips were fluffy and perfectly cooked. The fish was massive, and the batter tasted amazing. Then, the ice cream sundae to follow was nice to top it off. Staff very friendly.

Breakfast with my sister, first time for me. She had the roll and black pudding, which is her favourite. I went for a roll and link sausage, which was the best sandwich I've had in years. Tea in a pot (no bag-in-a-mug) with extra hot water, without asking and a warm, friendly lady bringing everything with a smile. How refreshing.

Steak pie was fantastic! Breaded haddock was good, but unexpected. Battered haddock tastes the best. Rocky road was sad, no crunchy road bits at all just soft bites : . Ice cream is very tasty and worth the detour. Toilets have very limited space and require you to bend down to enter. Great place for dinner and I will come back again!

It was very busy with no availability for a table, so we went to the chip shop, also busy , with a line outside and this is usually a good sign as it shows its popular with locals . Chips were not good, the potatoes used were full of eyes and I left lots of uneaten black bits, fish was OK. Everything freshly made so nice and hot, but this obviously added to the stress of the main Fryer person as he was quite terse while taking some orders. It would be better if the juice selection was visible so the cashiers didn 't have to answer questions about what juices they have the cans were stored below counter height so weren 't visible to make a selection before asking) . I finished my fish but lef...
