"We had afternoon tea here and thought it was the best we have had. Really good value for money and everything was home made. As someone who has a gluten free diet I usually get a very poor offering compared to someone on a regular diet. However, this is easily the best gluten free afternoon tea I have ever had. We had a jug of delicious elderflower presse which was gorgeous. On my tier, I had home made bread for my sandwiches (which was wonderful) and the most beautiful scone, quiche and, lemon and almond tart as well as other goodies. It was all absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend going there. The ambience is nice in the conservatory and we were left to enjoy it all and take as long as we wanted with refills of tea. I highly recommend it, It is much better than any hotel afternoon tea as it has a more personal touch, is great value and by eating here you are also supporting a local family run business. We will be returning!"

What a fabulous experience this ever changing museum provides and to top it off with some sustenance in the ever increasing coffee shop is the icing on the cake. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

I am a regular customer and always enjoy a nice meal and wonderful coffee. I also purchase wool the lady who owns the shop is one of the most helpful persons I have ever met. I am always buying cards and little bits that catch my eye. I think anyone looking for a great meal and wonderful.

Went for lunch with friends phoned ahead to check they catered for Vegans , however the vegan choice is poor and made to feel it was an inconvenience. Ended up with mushrooms and tomato on toast they forgot the vegan cheese . Overall not a good experience best thing is they use The tea lab tea which is great .

I was in a hurry so I needed a coffee to go. I ordered a cappuccino with skim milk, but they didn't have skim milk. I decided to go with oat milk instead. The coffee ended up tasting more like a flat white and it was weak. I wasn't offered any chocolate sprinkles either, especially considering the price was comparable to Starbucks.

I had an early appointment and decided to stop by for breakfast afterwards. I had previously enjoyed lunch and coffee with friends at this restaurant, but unfortunately, the breakfast was not up to par. The scrambled egg on toast had very chewy toast, and the vegetarian breakfast was overpriced and of poor quality. Despite being the only customers, we were disappointed with our experience. Unfortunately, this visit resulted in a lost customer.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. There was plenty of seating available indoors and outdoors, including in the covered terrace and the walled garden. We chose to sit on the terrace. We only had coffees and cakes, but I was impressed by the variety of Gluten Free options available. Instead of just the usual brownie or carrot cake, there were a variety of cakes and tarts to choose from, which was a nice change. I highly recommend the Gluten Free lemon and blackcurrant tart. We also purchased a tart to take home. The main menu offered a wide selection of breakfast and lunch options featuring local ingredients and sauces. After our meal, we explored the s...

"wow, what a jewel! my wife and I ate on Sunday afternoon on this “plum” of a restaurant. I was amazed to have studied the menu before booking to see that a very large of the dishes in the offer shown free as gluten, something that has now paramount recently been diagnosed with celiac disease. there was a free dish served by popcorn, which had been aromatized with its own wobble the flavor of the restaurant, which was a real tastener. we followed with the curry goat, which served as a generous part, reisbäsen, a part curry goat gravy, jerk ripen, plantain, homemade coleslaw, and fries, who had blown the same twist of hurdles as the popcorn on them. we also chose some of the immersing sauces to give an additional hauch of choking only for the case. we have the idea of ordering also a plastered steak (they know how it is when they are really hungry), but were recommended against this by the dame who advised our order that the portions were quite generous and we had ordered a lot, and moreover we could always add to the order when our food had arrived. we also ordered a bottle of pino grigio to ash it al down. What do you want me to say? this was by far the best tasting and well cooked and served Caribbean cuisine that we have experienced, it was exceptional. we had no place for a pudding, but there was a lot to choose on the menu. When the bill came, we were thrilled and amazed that it all came around 60, which also excellent price-performance ratio. we will definitely be back, I recommend this jewel. enjoys!"
