The Art House Eastbourne

Lovely small cafe/ restaurant. Had the 5 salad plate and a salted caramel brownie and all of it was amazing. Will definitely be going back

We had a delightful afternoon at the restaurant enjoying art, painting, and dining. The food was excellent, with a variety of delicious salads that were popular among locals for midday meals.

the food and service is excellent. my family had the afternoon, the photo is tee for 2. everything was nice, the skorn had a **** that is a really nice twist. something to know is that the toilets are below.

I often go to this restaurant for lunch during the week. Their salad boxes are a convenient option for busy days and are priced well considering the variety of ingredients in each salad. The staff works hard to provide food, drinks, and activities for both adults and children.

vegan and veggie options and the personal are beautiful. stuff to do for children as well as art and craft events (headshop special! Friday and Saturday eve them served great gin cocktails and excellent tapas. 4 stars just because it is a little expensive, but where is not today??

Their winter afternoon tea is one to remember. My friends and I have been two years in a row and we will definitely be back next year. Such good value for money and I love that you can order a proper coffee (I chose a flat white) which is included in the reasonable price of £22. The food is unique to an afternoon tea deal and the soup is always delicious. We always end up taking food home, which is a bonus.

Been to the art house a couple of times now as I’m vegetarian and have looked to find somewhere I can get a healthy and tasty lunch everyday. I’ve had the food a few times and it is nice, however half of the food they have on the menu is no longer available and the person on the counter has been really unwelcoming each time. It’s made the both of us feel really uncomfortable going back again which is a shame.

There are vegan and vegetarian options available at this restaurant, and the staff are lovely. They also offer activities for children as well as arts and crafts events. On Friday and Saturday evenings, they have a special event called "headshop" where they serve delicious gin cocktails and excellent tapas. I would give this place 4 stars, but it is a bit pricey - however, that seems to be the case everywhere nowadays!

The staff at this restaurant is very friendly and the atmosphere is great with good music. The food was amazing. We tried chai lattes that were beautiful and delicious. Our meals were incredibly tasty and we especially loved the shortbread. It was the best shortbread we've ever had. We would definitely come back and recommend this place to everyone. We also liked the idea of doing a ceramic painting there in the future. How beautiful!
