Real authentic flavoursome food, the waitress was informative and knowledgeable and advised us on spice levels (hotter the better and we had a great meal,decor wise it's not the most attractive place and looks a little tired but dont let that put you off

Wow, the food here is amazing, the chilli paneer, indo paneer, samosas, dhal, naan and chicken curry it so amazing. The restaurant is spacious and suited our family in the private area at the back. Well done it’s so good to taste traditional flavours like this!!! It’s a must you have to try this!!

Rubbish food. We ordered mix grill alongside our normal beers while watching our match. The platter food was all cold and on top the price asked for it £18 was ridiculous. We had to leave the food as it ut and didn't even enjoy it atall. I will never recommend this place to any one. Definitely not returning.

I ordered takeout from this restaurant recently. The staff was rude and refused to accept payment with a debit card that was registered to a different address than the one the food was being delivered to. The order arrived late, with missing items, and the food was cold. The management showed no concern for the issues. View menu

Everything about the food is amazing. Takes long because they are busy, not quite, like like a pub with tablets for the eating area. You order at table, they bring bill so not like a weatherspoons. But man, this beats all Indian restaurants. Halal too so my friend is happy whilst I eat and have a pint! Love you guys, my new found place

The former pub known as Ashgrove has now been renamed Central and exclusively operates as an Indian restaurant. Reservations are required as instructed by the waitstaff. Unfortunately, one waiter named Kertan was impolite and did not wear a name badge as required. Our drink order was incorrect, with the coke lacking syrup. The food was overly spicy and the naan breads were dry. The prices are high considering the quality. A suggestion is to convert one side of the establishment back into a pub. Customers should be given the option to choose their preferred level of spiciness. It is disappointing that the restaurant does not allow BYOB. This is by far the worst Indian restaurant I have ever been to. Upon arrival we were told there was dress code. However, when I booked the table I was not made aware of the dress code on Friday and Saturday evenings. The food took ages to arrive I was waiting approx an hour for my main meal. Before I ordered my main meal I specifically asked the waitress if the curry I was ordering was spicy/ had any spice init. I ordered the butter chicken. She informed me it was not. When my food arrived I was unable to eat it, due to the excessive spice. My friends ordered the chicken tia masala this also had an excessive amount of spice in.
