"Really tasty food, i never had potato in this way before. I got so exited so i forgot to take a picture. I hade a large (and it was large) potato with chilli (hot filling), butter and cheese. Its to bad that this is my last day in scotland otherwise i would go back tomorrow. It was not expensive for that big portion and was on the royal mile So i went back to Edinburgh from sweden so i could have the same potato again, haha of it was one of the reasons. I tried the vegan haggis jacket potato and found it to be delicious, satisfying, and affordable. This restaurant is perfect for a quick lunch break while exploring Old Town.

I tried haggis for the first time and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The large baked potatoes were a hit as well. My only suggestion is that the avocado salad should be made vegan-friendly for a perfect topping option. View menu

We visited the Baked Potato Shop a couple of times during our stay in Edinburgh and it was great both times. The portions are really generous and it’s good value for such a central location. I tried the curried sweetcorn, chickpea salad and haggis toppings and they were all great.

Completely inedible fillings one with hummus that was completely tastless and had no seasoning and one with chilli that was so incredibly spicy that it was shocking they were selling it to customers. Also slow service for filling two potatoes. Who knew baked potatoes could go so wrong??
