"My partner and I had our Valentine's Day dinner at this restaurant, and we were extremely impressed with the quality of the food and the great value for the price. We were pleasantly surprised at how affordable it was, considering the high quality of the food. The staff were very attentive, and the chef even came out after our meal to check on our satisfaction. We have dined here before, but it had been a while. We will definitely be returning more frequently in the future."

We had made a reservation but had the wrong time, so our table was given away. However, they did eventually find us a table. The food was good, we opted for the carvery.

My wife and I had an enjoyable lunch yesterday. Bright, smiling and quick waitress who, if I'd been forty years younger, I might have noticed was called Amber; good food, pleasant surroundings. I'd recommend it and I'd go again.

The carvery in Sunday was excellent. The best I have ever had, really tasty and fantastic value for money. Our waitress was great, very friendly and helpful, in fact all the staff were. We recommend it to anyone and will be coming back soon.

Have been dropping in over the last few months just for an hour or so a couple of Oldfield's ciders whilst our son plays in the garden ...tonight (without our son) we decided to drop in and try the food and so glad we did. It was delicious the best steak I've tasted for a long time and the staff were fabulous.will most definitely be returning to what is rapidly becoming my favourite pub
