"if I could, I would give 50/5 stars: that was one of the best dinners I had in wales. we had black pudding for starters that was accompanied with guacamole with really nice taste balance and then all the table had racks of lamb that literally melt in their mouth. then we had some European gloomy to share that we were doing well. the evening was spectacular! all the ingredients were absolutely stunning and I must confess that this restaurant has definitely gone over all the expectations we had and we are a pretty spoiled baptism! if I came back! the chef and the manager here were very welcome. this is a way to success! well done and the best!"

Amazing hospitality for the annual review of our group. The care taken to give us an excellent meal in congenial surroundings was more than we could have hoped for. This made for a wonderful evening.

We had a great time at The Berwyn! Every dish was carefully prepared, homemade goodness. A great selection of meat, fish and vegetarian and you must try the garlic bread and dauphinois! Caroline was an excellent hostess.

that is by far the most beautiful restaurant in which I have ever been. runs from a man and a woman. The woman hostess who cooks man and they are both brilliant at their jobs. eating is fantastic and oh my, the puddings clean, tidy and friendly. very much worth a visit!

As good as anywhere I've ever eaten, and yes that does include a few Michelin starred eateries, truely gorgeous food and sweets. Owners are the only staff, the gentleman is chef and lady front of house, they are very attentive and really care that your food is enjoyed. SUPERB.

fantastic food and service at our visit last week. very attentive and (medium) rare that a cook comes to check his meals are ok for the customers, great note .we went for the black pudding stack and mushroom / goat cheese to start with steak and lamb for net. great portions and is a must for anyone visiting or staying close!

We always feel lucky to get a table at The Berwyn. Is this the best kept secret in North Wales? Chris and Caroline put a lot of effort into making every visit special. The Berwyn is a jewel of a restaurant, always a friendly welcome, a pleasant atmosphere and home cooked food. Thank you again for another lovely evening and great food

we have already eaten some paints here and every time we were greeted happy and offered some really good food. starter for me have not many options that I would choose, but that's me. mains and desserts have a lot to choose and I'm still disappointed. this is an inconceivable restaurant with only a few tables, so booking is recommended.

We were in the area for the bank holiday weekend. We booked here and were not disappointed. The food was subline.. The main I had rack of lamb and it was one of the best lamb I have ever tasted. Cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. My other half had the duck whish again was amazing. Desserts we had creme brulee and strawberry mousse.. Both amazing and so tasty and perfectly presented. The atmosphere and hosts were so lovely and very attentive to our needs. I cannot recommend this place enough
