"We really enjoyed our authentic Caribbean meals! We had just left a local restaurant because they were only serving carvery. I am a vegetarian so I had had enough veg in gravy for the week. We could not believe our luck at this restaurant, they had a lovely, varied menu. We were not expecting such a wonderful freshly cooked and tasty meal. I hope that the chef does not leave because this is a great little restaurant. Portions are quite small so order some side dishes too."

Slow to take the order and prepare the food. The food itself was poorly prepared and tasted like it had been made in a hurry. I will not return to this pub again.

Stopped at the boat after mooring up beside it and decided to go for a meal....food was lovely and portions were large . The staff were really helpful and friendly. Definitely going back there again.

Haven't been to this little pub before, mainly because it's tucked away and I'm only in the area visiting family occasionally. Very friendly staff, food is fairly standard fayre but good. I had the lasagne, which was really good and very generous portion, hub had a burger which he said was tasty. Nice choice of beers and lagers and all responsibly priced, which is a rare commodity in this day and age. Would definitely visit again.

This was the worst pub food I have ever eaten. The toast for the club sandwich was cold and soggy. The filling of the sandwich was meagre and the bacon very fatty. The chips were hard and cold in the centre. We ordered 2 sandwiches. These took over 50 minutes to be prepared from the time of paying. The pub was not busy. There was no apology at how long we had to wait. The food was inedible but unfortunately there was no staff member around to inform of this.
