"This was the worst pub food I have ever eaten. The toast for the club sandwich was cold and soggy. The filling of the sandwich was meagre and the bacon very fatty. The chips were hard and cold in the centre. We ordered 2 sandwiches. These took over 50 minutes to be prepared from the time of paying. The pub was not busy. There was no apology at how long we had to wait. The food was inedible but unfortunately there was no staff member around to inform of this."

We came by boat and expected a run of the mill pub, but were quite taken by the menu well, or better the food that came. The 'Filth Fries ' were an unexpected light and quite tasty surprise.

Stopped at the boat after mooring up beside it and decided to go for a meal....food was lovely and portions were large . The staff were really helpful and friendly. Definitely going back there again. View menu

Haven't been to this little pub before, mainly because it's tucked away and I'm only in the area visiting family occasionally. Very friendly staff, food is fairly standard fayre but good. I had the lasagne, which was really good and very generous portion, hub had a burger which he said was tasty. Nice choice of beers and lagers and all responsibly priced, which is a rare commodity in this day and age. Would definitely visit again.
