"This was probably the best all around place where I’ve stayed and dined anywhere! Excellent hospitality, superb food and atmosphere, great staff. I stayed in one of the guest rooms and experienced dinners and breakfasts for a week, all different food items and each meal, from the fish and chips to the Sunday roast, was fabulous! I highly recommend this country treasure for a night out or a getaway stay in the country."

Lovely traditional pub. Beautiful setting and great food. Had a lovely lobster gnocchi when we visited which was very tasty!! Will definitely be returning and highly recommend.

Arrived without booking and asked for a table with plenty of room as my husband has a disability. The young man who helped me couldn't have been nicer even swopping a chair for us. The meal was lovely and tasty. The service was excellent.
