"Where to start with the ups and downs of this venue? We booked a table for early evening at 6 PM, and the place was not busy at all. However, the service staff all looked glum and miserable, not a single smile from any of them all evening. I ordered the chicken and ribs combo, and the food was nowhere near the value of the cost. The ribs were overcooked and the smallest I've ever seen in a UK restaurant. The chicken was dry and had an almost fake meat texture. Absolutely shocking quality. The corn on the cob consisted of two small end bits, not even a quarter of a cob between them. The only saving grace was the chips, which were great. My friend had the halloumi burger, which had two small slices precariously balanced on the bun. Seriously, consider other local restaurants instead. This place uses the cheapest ingredients, thrown together with no care, and served by the most miserable staff. But at least the chips were good."

We had a really nice waitress Milly. Food was great and they managed to find us a table for 6 without asking as we had two separate bookings.

For a place with beef in its name, the quality of the meat is very poor, the burger was dry and the quality of the steak leaves a lot to be desired. View menu

Brilliant meal and service. There were 6 of us who had not seen each other for a while, and it was a very pleasant experience and atmosphere for a catchup.

Well located to get to from Airport Parkway. Good food at a decent price. Bar has a nice outdoor garden, pool table and TVs. Service can be very slow especially at the bar as it feels the restaurant takes priority

Many reviews talk about poor service and I have to say we did not experience this at all. Megan our server was prompt, attentive and polite. The food was pretty much what you would expect from a Beefeater restaurant. The actual venue lacks any real atmosphere. View menu

Sat in the bar area, fillet steak was alright but side portion was too small, bar area is a bit messy. Pricepoint is ok and staff was friendly, didn’t have to wait too long. Having to order drinks on the bar while your food is sitting on your table isn’t great. Overall ok, nothing special.

We had a couple of drinks in the bar, then a meal in the restaurant upstairs. The whole experience was good. We must mention Scott though, I do believe without him it would have been a very different experience. His bar service was excellent, remaining calm whilst under pressure. He seemed to be doing the work of more than one person. He even appeared in the restaurant whilst delivering our food. The only suggestion I have would be for the Manager to keep an eye on the state of the toilets. No soap in either the ladies or gents between the time we made our booking at 1500 and 1900, that's pretty poor management.

"After reading all the good reviews we decided to try this restaurant and had high expectations We arrived to not a particularly warm welcome the waitress told us the specials were chicken, steak and veal and walked off no mention of how they were cooked or what sauces they came with and no prices after asking how the veal came the waitress had to go into kitchen and ask the chef who shouted out how they were cooked and the waitress then said did you hear that? we decided to just order off of the menu we ordered drinks to start with (a bottle of rose wine plonked on the table not even opened) when the lady came to take our order we asked if we could have a few minutes to finish our pre dinner drinks it was obviously a problem for her that we wanted to wait a short while and after being asked for about the fifth time we felt under pressure to place our order (even though the restaurant was half empty) whilst the pasta dishes were nice the garlic bread left a lot to be desired basically just a toasted slice of white dry bread as soon as we had finished our main course our plates were taken away and the bill put on the table we were not asked if we wanted anything else as we still had half a bottle of wine left we didn’t settle the bill straight away as we were enjoying our wine we lost count of the times they tried to ask us to pay again under immense pressure we paid and felt like we had to leave it was not a relaxing evening nor were we made to feel welcome. This restaurant specialises in pasta and pizza and we heard the waitress telling tow guys who wanted pizza that they only had enough dough left for one pizza they had run out and it was only 8.30! Overall our experience of this restaurant was very disappointing very rushed, unfriendly staff, no niceties and certainly not a relaxing evening we will not be returning."
