I went to this restaurant with my family. The food was good, the service was friendly, and the beer was very affordable. It did take a bit of time for our food to arrive, but we were a large group. My burger didn't seem fresh or homemade, but it tasted decent and was presented well.

First visit to Brightlingsea, on a visit with friends, 6 of us in total. On entering the Brewers Arms the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We had the Sunday roast and the food was delicious. The rooms were average and could use some new carpets, but they were clean and comfortable enough for a one-night stay. The pub hosted a drum and bass night for Halloween, which brought back memories of my 20s. I appreciated the atmosphere and the friendly locals. Overall, a good value hotel with a rating of 3 for rooms, 4 for service, and 4 for location.

I had a wonderful experience at this bed and breakfast. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend a visit. The rooms were cozy, nice, and quiet. There are plenty of activities nearby and the location is convenient for walking to the harbor and shops. There is a good selection of food and drinks available. To start, I would like to review the restaurant based on our experience during breakfast. The ingredients used were of top quality, including sausages, bacon from the local butcher, and bread from the local bakery, all freshly cooked in generous portions. We noticed that people who had main meals always cleared their plates. The accommodation, while basic, was very comfortable and had everything needed for a short stay. The shared fridge, microwave, toaster, and iron/ironing board provided more amenities than some other places.
