The Bull - Menu

We recently attended a small festival near Wrotham and we opted to locate a decent local establishment for a Sunday lunch.

I stayed for 1 night in the Bull Hotel for business purposes. The hotel is a short journey from Borough Green and Wrotham train station.

Wow what a wonderful find! A delectable treat of deliciousness! We had driven passed this place for the last year without venturing inside.

The function rooms are modern and rusty respectively joined by a lovely walkway and decking . Perfect party venue. The barn area has a bar, cloakroom and great ambience. The hot food was top notch. Thoroughly recommend.

sadly the sunday roast was almost inedible as the beef was so tough even with a steak knife and the quarter roast potatoes were rock hard even when i told the young waitress upon collecting the plates no real response, not anywhere as good as toby carvers just expensive

We didn’t know what to expect, I’d read some reviews and if I’m honest was not expecting much. Well I was pleasantly surprised, we had a three course meal with a couple drinks each and I cannot say a bad word about any of the courses. They were all delicious, especially the chocolate mousse/brownie.

the hottest day of the year for a high time. the room for the ceremony 'the butter' was beautifully decorated and not too hot. the outside building had a very intelligent, retractable roof that kept the sun outside, but a nice little brise passed through. only briefly in the main part of the pub but it went very clean with good service. all staff were very friendly and helpful.

the first visitors today and from the moment we went, we felt we were on a good one. the service was excellent and the eating corresponded to the pleasant atmosphere. Korean chicken wings were great and the frying dinner was absolutely banish! the best bark I have tasted for years, and the lamb/pork bratkabombe was before place. is highly recommended and will definitely be back.

Be advised: if you have allergies, DO NOT EAT HERE. They are not equipeed or trained to cater for people with allergies or intollerances, which shouldn't be a problem in 2023! I wished this place would be good as my fiancée and I were looking to get married in their Buttery and Glasshouse. However, we were left extremely dissapointed and shocked at their incompetence and dishonesty. Despite mentioning MULTIPLE times we had two dairy allergies in our party, we were served food caked in butter. What's worse is after querying what looked like butter on the plate, I asked the server to double check with the kitchen and was then assured that nothing was cooked in butter. I trusted this knowledge...
