"This pub used to be our go-to spot for Sunday roasts and family gatherings, but something has drastically changed since our last visit 8 months ago. The staff were rude and aggressive, and the food was cold, bland, and severely overpriced. We were charged £8 for 5 chicken nuggets with bbq sauce, advertised as "Korean chicken goujons," which turned out to be the same as children's chicken nuggets. When we brought up our concerns with the waitress, she became unpleasant and hostile, making us feel uncomfortable until we left. The rest of the food was lukewarm and unappetizing, with a peculiar parsley taste in the Yorkshire pudding and lacking the cauliflower cheese that was offered before, yet the price remained the same. There was no offer of a refund or any other staff/management to address our complaints, leaving us feeling completely disregarded. It's disappointing to have lost our favorite pub, and we will not be returning after today's abysmal service and food quality. As local patrons supporting a local business, we feel like we have been taken advantage of and treated unfairly. It is best to avoid this establishment altogether."

We ate here while staying overnight in the B&B part of the Inn. The atmosphere was great, the service was friendly and the food was excellent. Probably wise to book ahead we saw a few people unable to get a table

The location is charming and the interior of the pub is quite pleasant. We have been coming here for years, but the music is too loud for a country pub, so we had to sit outside in the light rain. I doubt we will return in the future.

Staying locally and was recommended this place. It’s a really charming looking pub and staff not overly welcoming but not rude. The food firstly is really average at best pub food so don’t go expecting anything more. The real bugbear was the price. It’s restaurant prices for average pub grub.

Popped in for a quick drink as the pub was conveniently placed partway through our walk. Decided to have a bite to eat and we both chose the Moroccan vegetable soup which was just delicious, full of flavour, a really generous portion, served with beautifully fresh bread and butter. The lady at the bar was just great, really friendly and welcoming, all in all a super pub which we look forward to returning to.

I stumbled upon this charming restaurant in the countryside, hidden away in a 13th century pub rich with history. The journey from Bude was a bit challenging, navigating narrow country lanes, but the stunning views made it all worthwhile (there is also a simpler route in and out, for future reference). I thoroughly enjoyed a delicious lamb dish and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend paying a visit to this delightful establishment.

We booked a meal at this place for our last evening of our holiday. Lovely old place with an open fire and a lovely cottage feel. The views were amazing over the nearby fields with the coast in the background. We both ordered the steak and it came with chips a side salad and we had peppercorn sauce, I have to say it was all gorgeous and cooked to our liking with plenty on the plate. Would definitely recommend the food here, absolutely gorgeous

Very cosy traditional pub, lovely outdoor space aswell with fantastic local walks and beaches. The pub itself serves really good food, mostly cooked fresh from what i can see which is becoming less common these days! Staff are very friendly Seating is comfortable I have read some previous negative reviews and to be honest I disagree with everything they say…just my opinion but an experienced opinion. I really like this place and will continue to come back.

The Bush Inn is a lovely old and atmospheric pub in a beautiful setting. There’s a decent pint and live music BUT whatever you do don’t eat there! We’ve been several times over the years, every time in the hope that the food will have improved. It hasn’t. On our lunchtime visit the homemade soup was thick and claggy. It could have been turned into something nice with a bit of stock for a better consistency, but wasn’t helped by the bread roll it came with that tasted as if it had been reheated to disguise the evident staleness. Crisps on the side of the sandwiches were however unashamedly stale. And although the ham sandwich was inoffensive by comparison, the homemade fish-finger version inv...

"So let us share our experience, We went in tonight as a family after seeing that it home made food on the drive to sennen and looked online and had a good look at the food available on the menu also looking to see if it was dog friendly and it ticked all the boxes, Upon arrival me and my wife went in 1st to ask if we could have a table for food and if dogs can go inside and staff were a little unsure but they confirmed we could upon asking for a table for 7 but one in a pram he said we don’t have the availability to cater I was looking at a table big enough and eventually said that this table was available whilst being seated we had 2 table one clean and the 2nd just been finished with so needed a clean but he came and cleaned both tables and he squirted the cleaner on a clean table and the over spray bounced off the table and went over our selfs then we were handed a menu freshly printed A4 paper thrown on the table (WET TABLE) so they stuck to the table upon agreeing what we wanted we went to the bar within 2-3 mins of being seated we knew what we wanted and when we asked for the meal it was OUT OF STOCK (Sunday lunch) ok fair so as I was with a family member at the bar I quickly rushed back to the table to ask my daughter of an alternative she wasn’t happy, So I made a meal up of all the extras on the menu so I went back to the bar to find my family member ordered 2 fish and chips then I realised my wife also wanted Sunday lunch so I quickly rushed back to ask her what she wanted and went back to the bar just as my family member left and asked for fish and chips was also sold out also! 99% of the menu was SOLD OUT this should of been discussed upon arrival not as we were ordering I run and operate my own business and this isn’t how I would treat my customers this isn’t how an establishment should be ran! Even when I was standing trying to order a member of staff was standing there arm against the wall doing nothing while customers are standing waiting to be served! So we decided not to eat and my family member went back to the bar to ask for a refund as we couldn’t eat as a family and the staff were iffy about offering a refund but 10 minutes later they did refund my family member as it became a scene for other people as they could see what had happened! This establishment should be call the 1st and late time you come here! We ended up walking to the chip shop down the road for food we are very disappointed in this company and establishment! For anyone who wants to eat please make sure they HAVE STOCK how can this establishment run without stock? Never again tonight they lost over £200 revenue due to this situation!"
