"I had a delightful dish of cured meat with dill pickles and horseradish yogurt, alongside an eggplant, tzatziki, pomegranate, yogurt, and crispy roast, which was absolutely delicious. The homemade pita was to die for! The beet salad was incredibly tasty, and the squash and barley risotto was fantastic too. We didn't even have time to check out the beautiful cakes on display. We loved the selection of different chilled waters available, with proceeds going to a charity for water sustainability. The staff were all friendly, cheerful, and helpful, creating a wonderful atmosphere. Given the generous portions and high quality of the food, we felt it was a great value as well."

Fresh local produce, ethical ethos. Totally love The Cafe in the Park. Great food that all the family enjoys. The added bonus of the shop means I can always grab something for dinner.

A hidden gem in this delightful area! Lovely after an early morning walk round the lake to stop for a cuppa and delicious home made cake or even a full English! Friendly staff and great service! Can’t fault it

The coffee here is excellent! The Americano has a great strength and tastes fantastic; it seems to be freshly roasted 100% Arabica. The picture I took was halfway through when I realized just how good the coffee was. View menu

We arrived just after 11.30am today for breakfast not realising breakfast stopped at 11.30am. The kitchen staff got their ingredients back out to make us the delicious Cafe Grill. Fantastic customer service as always! Thank you

This is a fantastic spot for a family outing, especially in the spring. They have a small lake, bike trails, and plenty of indulgent snacks that kids will love. The scenery is beautiful, perfect for taking pictures. We had a wonderful time here! While the food can be a bit expensive, they do offer salad options as well.

"This place offers food that tastes even better than homemade dishes, along with delicious cakes that they unfortunately don't have time to bake themselves. They also have a donation-based water hydration station that genuinely makes a difference. Additionally, it features a unique space for kids where they can make their own nut butter, and customers can purchase sought-after products from local farmers right on the premises. I love it!" The restaurant offers plenty of seating options, both indoors and outdoors, so finding a place to sit shouldn't be an issue. The staff are attentive, courteous, and eager to assist you. The food is delicious, with generous portion sizes, and they provide a nice selection of beers, as well as Fairtrade lemonade for those who are environmentally conscious. They stay open fairly late and don't rush you when it's time to go. Additionally, the mud café in the back is a fun spot for children.

The staff here are incredibly friendly and dedicated to preparing and serving fresh, sustainably sourced, and delicious food. For lunch, I highly recommend the delightful mixed mezze, or you could indulge in a slice of their homemade courgette and lime cake. The team at the café really makes an effort to ensure you feel welcome, even getting to know long-time regulars like my 85-year-old dad on a first-name basis. This place truly stands out as an independent eco-friendly dining option in a landscape dominated by global brands. Their new shop is fantastic as well!
