The Camerton - Menu

Finally had a Sunday lunch at The Camerton and it did not disappoint! Food was lovely, best carvery I’ve had in a long time! staff were super friendly as always, especially Kelly who is always fab! Will definitely be returning once again as the food and service are always amazing!

Dreadful. If you like battery chicken in chemicals, chips out of the cheapest place you can get them, and charge £17, then this is the place for you. Beer shandy with soda tastes gross. I would advise you to give this place a big miss….. How they have the nerve to serve this cheap ……. Is beyond us. AVOID.

We reserved a table for 12 people to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary. Upon our arrival, we were seated in our own private dining room, which was beautifully arranged. The staff were very attentive and accommodating, making sure everything ran smoothly. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals and desserts. Thank you, Camerton, for your exceptional hospitality! So sad to see what's happened to this place, I think they've been really affected by covid as the produce etc is 100% a lot cheaper and subsequently poor. We used to come here all the time and the food was always top class but the last two or three times has been bang average. Burgers taste of nothing and I had cheeseburger pie which was just mince in tomatoes shoved inside a rock hard pie. We've started going elsewhere

I recently went to Camerton for a family meal during the Easter weekend and we absolutely adore this place. The food was fantastic as always! I ordered the Boston Buck and I was pleasantly surprised by how stuffed I was afterwards. You definitely need to try the frickles - they are amazing! Even the kids were able to squeeze in a dessert and they tried the scotch egg creme egg. Luckily, my daughter couldn't finish it, so I got to have some too.

I recently dined at this restaurant and had a wonderful experience! It had been a while since my last visit, but the food was still delicious. We ordered the mixed grill and chicken gyros, followed by a shared chocolate brownie (as we couldn't each have one). Everything was tasty and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond by helping us with our baby's pram so we could relax and enjoy our meal. Not every restaurant offers such personalized service. Visited on a busy Friday evening, we had a great time Staff were lovely attentive but not intrusive We ordered steak night we had the tomahawk for 2 which was cooked to perfection and the pepper sauce was a delight Our friends had steak pie and commented it was melt in the mouth and full of chunks of meat served with creamy mash and veg We even had a dessert which was super sweet delicious a massive portion, it was that good we took a portion home too We had a bottle of pinot Grigio with our steak night a great well kept pint of Timmy Taylor’s Thanks to a great night we’ll be back soon

A group of four of us met up for a friend's significant birthday. Two of us arrived early and asked staff to present some flowers and a birthday cake at the end of our meal. They were more than happy to help. The service throughout was fantastic, even table service for our drinks. They gave us time to review the menu and have a bit of a catch up, and when we were ready to give our order they were there. The food was delicious, hot and freshly made. Reasonable price too. At the end of our meal the brought the cake, sang happy birthday then brought us some plates to eat it there without any bother. All in all and excellent night. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

Visited for Sunday lunch 24th March 4 Adults 3 Children was seated straight away after I rang and explained we were running late this wasnt a problem and was greated at the door. Staff all very attentive helping with highchairs for the 2 babys and crayons drawing for the other child. We chose 3 carverys and a fish n chip option off the menu which all was coordinated together so everything was piping hot. Carvery was amazing everything you could want. Children's meal was exactly what he wanted and the babies where looked after as well. A massive thank you to all the team @Camerton as it was busy but everything was spot on 5*.
