The preselection of orders by each attendee was really helpful and made the occasion go well and saved time in a busy period. The attentive service was really good, unhurried and efficient. Nice pub, but disappointed with the food. Had steak ciabatta. Steak was a bit tough and not much of it. Should have mentioned whilst there. Staff friendly though

We reserved a table at The Castle for a retirement celebration and end-of-year Christmas lunch. The staff was excellent, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and tidy. We all left with satisfied stomachs and smiles on our faces. We're looking forward to coming back!

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Attentive efficient staff , always happy to help. I took a large group of adults with learning disabilities who thoroughly enjoyed their visit and the high standard of food and care they received. Decor was festive and it was truly memorable day for all involved.

The festive decorations at the entrance, whether in the cozy pub with two roaring fires or in the stylish restaurant, set the perfect mood.
