"Great to be back in The Clarence Social. A little rusty after being closed for so long due to the pandemic. Our waitress was very helpful and friendly. It’s quieter upstairs. The vegetarian option of aubergine and lentil pithivier was original, tasty and well presented with its accompanying salsa. We will certainly go back."

Menu is short but even then it was difficult to chose as all the dishes were appealing. Food beautifully presented and delicious. Wide range of gins available and our wine was excellent. Staff were very attentive and friendly without being intrusive. View menu

Despite confirming my booking a few days before when I arrived at for brunch on sat March the door was locked. I called and the chef answered we're not open until the staff obviously chose to party the night before at the expense of customers. I won't be going back
