"Disappointing! Asked how many needed seating and we said two people. Man said he’d check tables and walked off, I then saw him stood at top of cafe waving us over. We were seated at a low down coffee table and sofa as he said ‘all the other tables needed cleaning?’. There was no menu and we were sat around a corner out of sight from main counter area. We were due to eat so this was far from ideal but didn’t want to make a fuss . After about ten mins we flagged down a very irritated, surly female and she cleared a table for us. It then took about another twenty minutes before our food arrived and we were contemplating settling up and cancelling the order. However, the food came and I had exactly 7 mins to eat it before my parking was up. The food was basic and of low portion, the bacon was over-cooked and rock hard the rest was borderline satisfactory. Atmosphere tense and not particularly friendly. It could be so much more but the basics need working on."

Visited lunchtime today. We had a selection of lovely cake and took away some scummy sausage rolls. The two gentlemen running the cafe were friendly, polite and efficient. Would recommend it.

Just not a great place for a coffee. Very tired inside, bright lighting which gave me a headache, dull deco and the staff are really miserable. Took 15 mins to be served, coffee was horrible and overall won’t be going back. View menu

Ignored, another customer had to point out that we were there before him .. even though she had seated us a while before. Then charged £5.25 for a kids ham and cheese toastie that was literally one piece of bread and no ham they had ran out With Slimy brown lettuce in the salad And I had a soup that tasted of nothing The only good part was the bread that came with the soup which I had to give my little girl as she was still very hungry Will not be returning

we have regularly visited your coffee establishment over many years and have enjoyed the experience yesterday however, one of your waitresses curtly and rudely asked my friend to put her dog on the floor she was holding the tiny thing in her arms, as he is nervous this she did though it was never been a problem before We noticed just across one of the other tables, a parent was allowing her young kid to climb all over the table! most unhygienic and not fair or acceptable, nothing was even said it doesnt matter if cleaned after, as you do it should not be happening be assured we will not venture into your establishment again where there are totally duel standards and unfairness and rudeness C...
