"We have been coming here a few times but sadly our most recent visit will be our last, very unorganised, nobody to show us where to sit so we picked a table only to be asked to move as it was apparently reserved (Nothing on the table to indicate this) then it took over 20 minutes before our order was taken. Meanwhile people continued to come in, nobody greeting them so they just sat down and ended up being asked to move. Seemed if they knew you they couldn't do enough for you whereas if you were a visitor, they were much less interested. We found the staff quite rude and patronising and the service was slow so on the basis of that we shan't bother again."

A brilliant traditional pub I wish all pubs would keep the same theme going instead of going with the times and modernising. We need to remember the past. Great pub great staff and very friendly regulars.

Went in late evening and enjoyed a few cold ones until closing time(not rushed to drink up very pleasant Landlord and it was nice to see handpumped ale(think they've got an on premises brewery? , felt just like a locals pub at the seaside, happily go back for a longer session but no dogs allowed

Smashing find this pub slightly of the beaten track at Ingolmels village. A good choice of beers, largers and ciders with the added bonus of a locally brewed craft ales by The Leila Cottage Brewery Ace being my personal favourite. The kitchen here has a varied pub styled menu very well priced prepared and presented to a high standard, overall this pub is well worth a visit. View menu

The restaurant has really let itself go. The sausage I had was the cheapest I've ever tasted, it seemed like it was just mush warmed in the microwave. My partner ordered the hunter's chicken and salad, but what came out resembled roadkill with peas instead of salad. I mentioned this to the young waiter, but it was like talking to a beer mat. I don't usually leave good reviews for good food that I ordered, just bad ones to prevent others from facing the same disappointment.

We have eaten here quite a few times as we know we will get quality food, on this occasion as always the food was first class but the girl serving us was running round doing alsorts while the older lady just sat down on her phone, then started loudly talking on video talk with someone. We was sat there for a good 45 minutes and she never moved from her seat. Admittedly it wasn't overly busy, but it's just not right. We'll be back again soon as we've booked for Sunday lunch with friends. Food is still amazing.
