The ambience of this restaurant is the only positive. Grill waitress, along the INCREDIBLY OVERPRICED food. £16.50 for a tiny burger w a tiny part of chips and no shrimp

One to absolutely avoid, zero customer service skills high on rudeness . Never got past the lunch menu before we decided to leave. Only exists because it is tourist central.

came here with friends. Staff friendly accommodation. Didn't book, but they managed to fit us. Service was great, the food was delicious. Would recommend a Sunday roast to the pub. In any case, you will come back when I next visit Bath

Came here for lunch last Friday and had the special lasagne. It was brilliant, my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal and wine. We were served by a lovely waiter with blue hair and I couldn’t have asked for better service! Absolutely fab

My friend and I visited at 5.45 on a Tuesday, it was national pie week with a menu with many pies on it. However no Steak pie my choice so had to settle for a chicken one. It was advised with greens and mash. No...greens on plate just a very few peas. Inquired why no greens, we haven't any..I bring you extra gravy! Honestly if they had told me when I ordered I wouldn't have had the dish as chicken pie not a favourite. It was just under £18, certainly not worth that much at all. Never seen such a small pile of peas and pie was also small. Certainly wouldn't eat in a Fuller's pub again as vastly overpriced.

We had booked lunch, arrived, and were seated on time. Drinks were fine but the food order was not taken for a while. Meanwhile other diners arrived (after us) and were fully served, and even finished. We waited 50 minutes before our food was served....We had cchildren with us and I had to give them biscuits as they were so hungry. I asked for an explanation but, although the waiting staff were very nice, no proper explanation was given. We had wished to have a main course, dessert, and coffee. My Husband and myself dined here both nights of our stay in Bath. The minute we walked in the door we were made to feel welcome, The lovely group of young ladies who worked front of House were very professional, kind , helpful and knowledgeable....The team could not have been any more helpful. The food was fantastic very good quality and cooked extremely well and there was plenty of it. Please ignore the nasty bitter personal attacks that have been made in some reviews below. In the crystal palace for a refreshment my wife and I decided to eat a bite, after looking at the menu we both chose a beef sandwich, my with a white blotter and my wife chose the painted blotter. After a 20-minute famine, our food arrived, the contempt would have been an understatement in all honesty, the bread was not only quite dry as if it had been frozen, but it looked like we had got the cut of bread at the ends of the loaf. In addition, it looked like the overhauled ends of a cattle joint, which was far from the tendering, the picture shows the one half that the meat had most, the other half had much less. Silence us. Right next door where we stayed, and we didn't try it because someone didn't like the signs. Luckily we drove rain in a late afternoon and we were all very satisfied with the look and feel of the crystal palace. It's beautiful and welcoming. The staff prepared to serve a wedding party, but this did not prevent our server from paying our full attention. Those of us who had the bovine brisket Lasagne were notorious to drown the Raves of the Steak and Ale Pie enthusiasts. Service and food would not have been better.
