"We had a most enjoyable lunch here today, (Feb 2) with two friends and their dog. We had been here during the week for my wife’s birthday and had a very enjoyable supper so thought we would try it again. We were not disappointed! Three of us had fish and chips and my wife had scampi. The portions were just right, well cooked and presented. The staff were brilliant. I could also get Guinness 00 which was just what the Doctor ordered. A pleasant walk there and back ticked another box…Looking forward to our next visit."

Loved this pub. Folks behind the bar were awesome. Might be the only place in all of the UK where people know how to play euchre! Pints were flowing and fun was had.

Sadly the food quality isn't matching the prices being charged. Portion size isn't great the silver cup of chips for a Portion isn't acceptable for the price. The menu looked great but execution was poor. Service and staff were lovely and friendly

The perfect village pub. Lots of social events on board outside. Gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options available on main menu. Children’s choices. Lovely waitresses, perfect service. We were quickly served on this Tuesday lunchtime at about 2:30. We will definitely return as it’s close to our new home.
