"A fascinating exhibition by Cambridge born London Based artist Ian Rawlinson inspired by place and memory. The exhibition runs 6th September to 1st October at the Edge Cafe. The preview, talk and reading is on Saturday 4th September 6pm. MARGINAL is the seventh in a series of solo exhibitions inspired by Rawlinson’s hometown of Cambridge where he revisits places which no longer exist or have been subject to significant change since he lived in the city. His personal history is an influence on the work and the search to find images which define the confluence of past and the present form part of his ongoing investigation into ideas of place and memory. In this series of work Rawlinson uses adjusted and abstracted imagery suggesting ideas of fragmentation and loss. The work is shown alongside text from Real Cambridge, a new book by Grahame Davies. Grahame accompanied Ian on a walk around the Arbury and King's Hedges area of Cambridge to discover hidden features and places from the past. This walk informs a chapter in the book. Opening hours are currently Mon Fri 8am 4pm, Sat 9am 4pm. Opening times may be subject to change. Contact the Edge Café for further updates."

Decent coffee and price very reasonable, only thing that let it down was a too-hard gluten free cookie.

Had a delicious vegan carrot cake, topped with lemon zest, and a black coffee to take away. Tasted great and ordering to take away was simple and safe View menu

Great coffee and brownie. Hard to find decent quality coffee in this city but the mocha I had definitely impressed me, will be back again for it. And the baked goods looked very nice — decided on a brownie which was very good quality as well. Staff were friendly as well View menu
