"We received a warm welcome and decided to order the Sampi and the fish and chips from the extensive menu. It was a nice touch that they offer half portions, as sometimes you don’t want a large meal in the middle of the day, but we ultimately opted for the full portions! When the food arrived, I initially thought the Sampi portion seemed a bit small, but everything was well-cooked, including the chips, which were beautifully crisp and tasted fresh, not overcooked. The person with me ordered the fish and chips, which were a decent portion featuring a lovely thin batter and crispy chips. She chose to go with the "inherited" option instead of the "muddy heirs" that she would like to replace. One small detail I appreciated was the use of a ketchup bottle rather than the tiny packets that are often found in pubs nowadays. Overall, I would highly recommend this pub. It’s a beautiful old building full of character, with a warm welcome and great pub food. There is also a pub garden at the back for outdoor dining."

Quaint little pub, lovely spot, good staff and dog friendly too. Nice little garden area for a summer drink, and cosy enough inside for a winter pint. Highly recommended and worth a visit Price per person: £10–20 View menu

This is a fantastic spot for a delicious pub meal. The food is excellent, and the beer is great, all served by friendly staff in a peaceful village setting. There's a spacious garden to enjoy when the sun is shining.

This 16th-century pub is the ideal spot to enjoy a pint when you're in Long Crendon. Babs, the host, is truly fantastic, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The ales served here are of excellent quality and well-kept. The village itself is lovely, making this pub a "must-visit" destination.

This cozy small pub is popular among locals for its friendly service and inexpensive drinks. The food is typical pub fare, but the atmosphere is welcoming and there are a few outdoor tables to enjoy when the sun is shining. It's a great spot to catch a Fulham or Chelsea game, but otherwise it's just a friendly local pub that gets quite lively on Friday nights. View menu

a so beautiful, friendly, well maintained pub. eating is unbelievable, well rated susceptible and all rounds satisfying, and reasonable, especially for the opposite. the beer selection was really thought about, there is something for everyone, but not just the usual job. I'm really impressed, and I used to run bars, and I'm actually a little unfairly hard in that.

This lovely pub, located in a charming village, has become my favorite spot since I moved here 6 weeks ago. I have been enjoying their delicious Roast beef every Sunday, which simply melts in your mouth. Pete, the chef, is truly amazing. During the week, I have been working my way through the menu and every dish has been delightful, even the salads (and I am not usually a fan of rabbit food). The couscous is especially tasty. I must also mention the fantastic Rothschild wine vinegar they offer, which is not commonly found in pubs. I keep coming back for more. The landlady, Carly, is wonderful and her warm smile always makes me feel welcome. What more could you ask for?
