The Eric Bartholomew

Busy when we walked in but found a table and ordered and was surprised how quickly the food arrived.Both had Smothered chicken which was up to usual Weatherspoons standard.

Spent a few days in Morecambe for my birthday, popped into the Eric Bartholomew for lunch. Nice meal. Quality drinks. Tables were not wiped down, we were left sitting at somebody else's slickly table.

Well once again I’m not surprised at the quality of the food and drink, which was superb value for money , and a great seaside atmosphere! The staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely be heading back the next time I’m in Morecambe View menu

Just because it was close to our hotel we popped in for a drink, stayed for food…. And went back three times in four days That says it all really doesn’t it ! Good menu, great prices, comfortable, friendly and great service. What more could you want ?

We visited the Eric Bartholomew for food while visiting the Morecambe Music Festival. I ordered Fish and Chips which weren't great and I will not be ordering, from Wetherspoons, again. The fish appeared to be over cooked or reheated/re-fried. My friends' food was ok but we all agreed that the next time we are looking for food in Morecambe, we will pay a little extra for quality.

Typical Spoons. Downstairs is a bit scruffy and can be loutish. It is passable if you can manage to get one of the few booths. There is a more pleasant seating area upstairs and a very fitting tribute to Eric and Ern on the wall. Our curries were as expected. Considerably more expensive than last year and less for the money. Five of us sampled curry night at the Eric Bartholomew and agreed unanimously that it was a great experience. The place was buzzing, as usual, but the well prepared staff took it all in their stride. Service behind the bar and at the table was spot on and the curries were excellent. Standards are consistently high in this establishment, which is quite an achievement. To paraphrase Morecambe's greatest son, all the right notes and in the right order!

Always nice to visit Morecambe when we are caravanning nearby, and that has to include lunch at Wetherspoon. I had an All Day Breakfast (think it was called that) and a Cherry Pepsi and my husband had small Fish, Chips and Peas including a pint of Guinness, both reasonably priced. It was a Bank Holiday Weekend so the pub was extremely busy with a queue to order food, but the queue moved quickly as there were a lot of Servers. He came back from ordering and we expected having quite a long wait for the food, but within less then 10 minutes we were served with it.

Came for some lunch with my family, the customer service when ordering at the bar was professional friendly. Despite the pub being busy food was on the table within 20 minutes, i asked the waitress for tomato sauce as there was non on the condiment stand, she had to borrow some sauce from the table behind me : as she stated the sauces are all around on tables. When the table behind me food came out the customer asked a different waitress for mustard to be told have you not gone to check by the stairs the waitress walked away. I appreciate the restaurant was busy the staff was working to their capabilities but customers should not have to go hunting for sauces : View menu
