Nice food and drinks and always good service. The best place in Derby for good food good drink. With real ales. A fantastic place for family and friends. All one level. Pets very welcome. Give this fantastic place a go.

Lovely pub/restaurant just outside of Derby City centre. Spent a very pleasant evening worjlking through the great choice of beers and sampling the well designed menu which indeed translated into perfect pub food. Derservably popular so you might want to book in advance.

Stopped in for a meal with my family, my son and I ordered the Trio of pies and my wife had Salmon. Both meals were excellent even if we couldn't quite finish all of the pies. The Exeter Arms is a fantastic place to eat...and drink, staff extremely friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend.

Popular and very busy pub with a great selection of drinks and the staff do an excellent job is serving customers from behind the small bar. Plenty of small cosy areas to sit and enjoy drinks or a bite to eat but I do wish...that customers would move away from the bar area after being served their drinks.

We visited this pub for an evening meal having stopped overnight on route to York. What a pleasant surprise it was. The food was brilliant as was the welcome we received from such wonderful staff. The building doesn’t look welcoming from outside but don’t be...fooled and you will not be disappointed. We will be back!

Fantastic pub, dog friendly with an excellent selection of beers and drinks. Food was amazing full credit to the kitchen staff! We found the prices to be so reasonable for the quality of food and service on offer. All staff we met were friendly and...accommodating creating a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Would recommend to all.

Despite our reservation having disappeared into the ether the young gentleman behind the bar, Jack I believe, very quickly gave us a couple of options for a table. The beer was as good as expected and the food delightfully original and lovely but the attention...of the serving staff made our night. Without being overbearing Jack couldn't do enough to help and all the staff were just lovely. The Exeter has always been a firm favourite bur we will definitely be visiting soon again!

We were visiting Derby and one of our group had heard this pub was good. Parking could be better but don't judge a pub by its exterior or you could miss out on a gem. We visited on a Saturday lunchtime not knowing it's a...football supporters pub. It was very busy but we found enough seating for people. It's a tight squeeze around the bar but the staff were efficient and friendly. We were told when we ordered food that it would be minutes which was about right. The people at the next table were friendly to non-football supporters. The menu is great with lots of choice, some of which I haven't seen before. We will be back on a quieter day.

Called here whilst over for a few days Derby, wanted to go somewhere that was a bit different to your standard pub food, loved the look of the menu and sound of the usual dishes with a twist, along with some dishes not usually...found on the pub menu, the pub is just on the outskirts of the City and down a little back street, and if being honest doesn't look that special from the outside, and we wondered wether we had made the right decision, however as we had booked in advance we took the plunge, on entering we found a quaint little pub with many nooks and crannies to sit, the pub was full, so we were glad we booked ahead (for a the location just outside the City on a backstreet tjs showed...
