"We’ve become fairly regular diners at the Fox Hounds and as well as it’s usual menu, it offers a great range of specials which often include some exotic and incredibly tasty dishes. There’s a weekly curry night on a Thursday and the home cooked curries are delicious. Sunday lunch is superb and a real treat with a choice of meats and vegetarian options and lots of lovely freshly cooked vegetables. We particularly like that there’s a choice of eating in the separate restaurant area or in the bar itself as they have a policy of not allowing children under the age of 14 in the bar area. It does make a refreshing change to have a choice whether to enjoy dinner and drinks without young children being around. The staff who work here are always very welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The beer is particular good and includes those brewed in their own on-site brewery. We really look forward to our next visit."

The food at this restaurant is awful. Don't waste your money here, folks. The owner is rude to customers. There are much nicer pubs in Heacham to visit instead.

A lovely, traditional pub! Very good food lunchtime and evening. A very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. A particular feature of the pub is live music of a very high standard.

Not somewhere I’d go back too. It has its own brewery but the pint I had was awful. The place is in need of some TLC. Try the Bushel and Strike or the West Norfolk first would be my advice.

We visited this place on a Saturday afternoon to sample the homemade beers and check out the football scores. The bartender was friendly, as were the regulars, but unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of the beers. The pub is a bit worn down, but still pleasant enough for a quick drink.

Not the best pub we've ever visited but not the worst either. Cheap pool table, reasonably priced drinks, even tried the locally brewed ciders nice, strong! jukebox in need of major updating as is the decor, but it does the necessary as a good value pub as long as you don't expect the Ritz!

We have been visiting the Fox Hounds for a number of years and the food is very good especially the home made specials, the live band nights are a treat as there are not many places that do this for free, there is a quiz night on a Thursday which is a good night out. We have always found the staff to be friendly and we enjoy our visits there.

We visited the fox and hound this evening, with our 2 children. When the food came out, the chips were all hard, not cooked. The lasagne was very watery and treated horrible. My steak was undercooked, I asked for medium rare, it came out totally uncooked in the middle. We told the boss about all of this and he was rude. We refused to pay and the children went hungry. Avoid.

We had a wonderful dinner last night at this restaurant. The ingredients were top-notch and the portion sizes were generous. We also enjoyed the 50% off mains deal on Mondays and Tuesdays. The sausages and mash were delicious, as was my husband's gammon ham with two eggs and chips. The small bottles of wine were also very tasty. The staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, a job well done!

"My wife and I stayed here for a few days to celebrate my birthday. We chose Titchwell Manor due to its location on the A149. From here we can catch the Coasthopper up or down the coast. The bus stops are 100 metres outside the hotel. We were greeted in the car park and shown to our room behind the hotel. We had Basil number 21. It is a large comfortable room, with walk in shower and the fluffiest towels we have ever had. The room was very well heated and the bed was very comfy. Breakfast was served from a civilised 8am. The plate of fresh fruit was really good. If you choose to have you eggs poached they will be the most perfect you will ever have with their lovely orange yokes. The rest of the components were equally good and served with leaf tea or great coffee. The bars each had a lovely roaring log fire, where we enjoyed a drink before our meal. The menu choices we made were ham hock, brioche piccalilli and burnt apple purée followed by venison, Jerusalem artichoke and rainbow kale. The other choice was marinated beetroot, basil pesto and goats cheese cream followed by salt baked celeriac, sage and onion with crispy kale. Both meals were outstanding. The venison was very tender and the celeriac was outstanding. On the basis of this dish, a very under stated vegetable. Service was very good and served at a speed we dictated without the continual pestering we have experienced elsewhere. We will definitely come back here as the whole stay was a great experience."
