"We had a little boy who needed a high chair and the first table that had been reserved for us was sitting with the high chair far too close to a roaring log fire. Unfortunately the other tables originally offered were too high as I have had two back operations. So my husband asked if there was another room. We were then taken into the Restaurant which was only being used for some sample wine tasting being offered by a supplier to the Fox. After that everything was perfect. Food was delicious and plentiful. Staff were excellent too."

Had a lovely Sunday roast. Everything was cooked beautifully. An extra roast potato would have been nice, I thought two was not enough. Lovely place, great staff. We will come again.

It took 30 minutes to take our drinks order and another 15 to take our food order. The food took another 50 minutes to come out and the seafood sharing plata has shrunk in size since we last had it. This was a Monday night so not a busy night. We were given a free round of drinks because of our wait.

The food was great I had the duck with sesame seeds and honey as a starter and it was fabulous. My mother had the mushroom soup which she loved. For main courses we had a wagyu burger and scampi both were great and we loved the fries that came with them. The staff were great and the ambience good. Altogether a lovely experience.

eating was very good, like the service, very strange bar type high table and chairs in eating area right of the bar. not suitable for anyone. noise level high as lunch party in winter garden. it's christening. toilets were in shocking condition. think water lines were frozen. not good with so many people together. someone tried to sort the toilets. with water.

2 of us had the fish and chips which were excellent. Lovely thin, crispy batter and a large fish which was cooked beautifully. However 2 of us had the cottage pie which came in individual pie dishes. The pies were barely warm in the middle, cold even. But the oddest thing was that the pies were served with 3 hunks of dry, white bread. No butter, gravy, just dry bread. And some hard peas. Very unsatisfactory. A great pity as the food is usually nice here.

It took a while for the food to arrive, but was worth the wait as it was exquisite. However, you think you’re going to a quiet country pub but unfortunately, it sounds like a race track!! Cars were pelting down the country road adjacent to the pub at great speed and that noise was horrendous and spoilt the experience for me. Even though the food was very good, I doubt I’ll go there again. I would recommend it to friends as long as they’re prepared to eat on the track at Brands Hatch!

Sat in conservatory, no atmosphere , view was fair though so made up for it. Soup lovely a little thick, came with a cob, crusty bread would of been nicer . Main was beautiful we had the pork , asked for a Yorkie with it which was not an issue , veg plentiful and beautifully cooked, puddings sold out of what we wanted but we had the sticky toffee pudding which we didn't choose initially as we thought would be quite heavy , but was light and tasted fantastic. Overall a very enjoyable meal, would go again and recommend to friends.
