"While on vacation, we decided to stop by a restaurant that offered cream teas. We arrived at 2:55, thinking we had plenty of time before they closed at 4:00. However, as soon as we approached the restaurant, a waitress informed us that the main dining area was closed but the courtyard seating was available. We decided to sit outside since the weather was nice. At 3:05, we ordered two cream teas and they arrived promptly at 3:12. By 3:25, a server tried to clear our table even though we hadn't finished our meal, which was obvious. At 3:40, another server abruptly placed the bill on our table without us requesting it, and they treated another table of 4 in the same manner. At 3:45, we left through the back entrance as instructed by a staff member who was quite rude. Needless to say, we did not leave a tip."

Fabulous breakfasts and ham egg and chips. Really generous portions and good value for the price. Everything arrived hot and very quickly. Also great with gluten free requests (even understanding the importance of separate fryers). Staff were fabulous. View menu

If you're after a proper good breakfast.....this is the place to stop!! This is the second time of being here and we can't fault the food or the staff, they're so polite and very concerned for my mum with her Gluten free requests! The butterscotch latte is a must

We found this place on TripAdvisor and its Fab! We stopped for breakfast on our way to Cornwall and the food was amazing. I had the chefs special mushrooms on toast and my husband had a large breakfast , both were spot on. We thoroughly enjoyed it all . The service was quick, the food hot,the staff exceptional and the place was spotless. Dont hesitate you won't regret it!!!

My wife and I went to The Grazing Cow over the weekend while we were in Devon for a friend's wedding. If you're looking for a tasty and satisfying full English breakfast, this is the place to go. The portions are just right and the prices are very reasonable. The service is fast, friendly, and welcoming. We will definitely come back to The Grazing Cow next time we're in Devon. View menu

Have driven past a few times and noticed how popular it looked so decided to pay a visit. We knew dogs weren't allowed in the main building so sat outside, we were informed and directed around to their lovely garden room which is heated and dogs allowed. The service was first class and the breakfast as good as any I have ever had. Food was delivered very quickly but I wasn't made to feel rushed I will be returning

Absolutely lovely, staff were incredibly kind, facilities superb and food wonderful, a terrific experience had by us and our friends, one of whom is vegetarian, we met up here as they were travelling back from Cornwall and we were travelling down. Great choice and also very good experience as I am disabled, all catered for with a smile and even an extra cushion for me! Nothing was too much trouble, would thoroughly recommend.

"We had two dinners and breakfast from this restaurant because we stayed in the Home Farm Hotel. We wanted to have the dinner and breakfast during our stay, but had to cancel our plans due to VERY POOR customer service received from Richard and also...because of his wife's cooking due to overcooked and burned full cook breakfast we received from the restaurant. Day 1, Richard introduced his wife to us, but she totally ignored us and in addition, she did not even bother to acknowledged and smiled with us. She seems to be very upset or very distance from everything or stressed/fed up about something at the time. Not sure this was due to over working… Day 1, Richard requested us to come down stairs for the dinner at 18:00, but instead of taking us to the restaurant for dinner, he tried his best to hard sell the alcohols he had in the bar to us and also to all the other guests. This happened even after we told him several times that we only want the meal and no alcohol from his bar. After about two hours, I had to tell him that I’m a diabetic and heart patient therefore I do really want to eat the meal and have a rest. He gave us the menu and I asked for lamb which was on the menu and he went crazy and said to us that they do not provide English food in this restaurant. I showed him what was on the menu, but he did not even apologise to us. He said lamb run out and asked us to select something else from the menu, again we selected duck, but that was run out as well!!! By then, Richard was sarcastic and rude to us as well as to other guests… In the end, we asked what we can have for our dinner. He almost shouted at us saying he and his wife only there to run the hotel without any staff therefore, we have to eat whatever his wife can cook!!! Finally, at about 21:00, we managed to have our dinner and I asked Richard to cancel our breakfast and dinner booking for the rest of the days however, he said we have to take the breakfast for next day because it was too late to cancel it. Next morning (Day 2), we were near the restaurant since 08:00 as Richard requested but as usual, past 09:00 we received burnt and overcooked full breakfast for two of us. They had a very large menu but it seems like most of the food either his wife did not know how to cook or had run out. Richard charged full price for our meals, BUT he FORGOT to provide the good quality food and services to the customers…"
