"After a nice coastal walk with family and friends, we decided to stop at a restaurant for a drink. We chose to sit in the back garden with our dogs. The inside of the restaurant was pleasant, but there was only one toilet for everyone to use and it was disgusting, with urine on the floor and feces all over the toilet. The back yard was dirty and unkempt, with dirty chairs and tables that hadn't been wiped down. There was an apple tree in the back with fallen apples, attracting wasps that bothered us. Near the kitchen, there were cooking oil buckets thrown in a heap. The terrace was unpainted and unappealing. After having just one drink, we decided to leave. If the facilities are this bad, I would avoid eating there."

We ate here twice on our holiday. Really friendly staff. We had the scampi, gammon, giant cheeseburgers. All were amazing. Large portion sizes tasty puddings as well. Would highly recommend.

Great pub with great atmosphere and very dog friendly with doggy bar offering 3 types of dog treats. Human treats include a fab steak and ale pie though a few more peas would not have gone amiss.

If Carlsberg made pubs this would be it, great atmosphere, friendly staff, good food, Guinness served with care. More dogs than you could shake a stick at. Real fire, period decor! Absolutely brilliant pub

We had a great experience at this charming village pub, where we were able to bring our dog. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The beer was delicious and the food was well-prepared, with a few unique menu items.

I visited this restaurant with my family on a weeknight and we sat on a bench in the lower part of the backyard. The portion sizes were large and we all enjoyed our meals. They even provided treats for our dog in the bar while we got our drinks.

It is just off the main roads and you will pass it by unless you know it's there. A nice unspoiled pub with some great beers and food far cheaper than in Seahouses. Service was good. Food excellent and great beers. You will encounter locals with strange accents who seemed happy to chat. If you are in the area make the effort to find this one.

With a couple of friends and our kids we were looking for an early dinner. We couldn’t have landed better than The Greys Inn! Great traditional food with a couple of nice surprises and big roaring fire which was most welcome! It was a Wednesday afternoon and the bar was bustling with locals who were very friendly! I would thoroughly recommend if you are in the area!!

Called in for lunch and was very pleasantly surprised. The pub itself looks quite ordinary on first glance but the beer was good and plenty of choice. The food was really good with some interesting dishes as well as the usual burgers etc. between us we had pie, gammon and a polish stew, all of which was excellent. Homemade chips not frozen. The best bit though was the lady behind the bar, who made us feel really welcome and it felt like we had been going in there for years!
