"I live in Jersey and I'm used to overpriced menus, but I had a difficult time paying £20 for 6 oysters at this restaurant. During a family meal, my parents both ordered the panko fried chicken. However, an hour passed and we were still waiting for our food. When the panko chicken finally arrived, it was dark brown and the chicken was very dry and clearly overcooked. The manager (assuming it was the manager, as he didn't introduce himself) then tried to justify the poor quality by saying "that's how it's cooked." Unfortunately, a lesson in customer service is needed at this restaurant and it's a reason why I won't be returning. In this challenging time where people are struggling, a meal out should be enjoyable and pleasant. A little courtesy goes a long way."

Looked at their menu and swiftly moved on. Laughable/ridiculous prices for Burgers. Inflated prices don't attract custom, regardless of what the owner might think

Tried The Growler for the first time tonight. Got the meat feast sharing board, food was amazing, steak was cooked to perfection. Staff were really friendly. Definitely recommend

The whole menu was over priced, we hoped the food would be worth it but honestly the food was average at best. I wouldn’t go back. The only positive I can say is that the chicken noodle bowl had a good amount of chicken. My husband said his burger was OK. View menu

We had an excellent meal on Saturday night at this restaurant. Both of us ordered the burger, which was of great quality. The staff is incredibly nice and friendly, and the service is fabulous. We enjoyed our experience so much that we decided to return today for brunch, which was also very tasty.

I normally don't write reviews, but I had to today. The customer service we received from our waiter, Ellis, was fantastic! He accommodated my son's food intolerances perfectly, making our dining experience much easier. Ellis listened to my son's needs and customized his meal. He was very attentive and friendly. The food was also delicious.

This is the only place I know where they charge the same price for any of their craft ales. At the moment, they have most beers from Overtoom (a Glasgow brewery) and all (from a 5% to a 10% beer) are priced at £4.25 for a half !! I think its £8 a pint so £8.50 for two halves is also an unnecessary mark-up. I love to promote craft ale bars but not at any price. View menu

Lovely little restaurant with amazing staff. Food was good, depending on the dishes ordered. The first night I went for the chicken burger with chilli and parmeadean fries. Although the taste was nice, it seemed a little underwhelming. HOWEVER, the second night I got the chilli chicken ramen and I must say it was amazing. Cooked to perfection with a lovely rich broth. Perfect for a cozy yet filling meal. Highly recommned to anyone wanting a hearty meal to good quality.

I was not busy when I met friends for lunch, but became more busy the longer we were there. good atmosphere, clean with cheerful and friendly staff. there is a brunch menu for breakfast until 2 o'clock and a main menu that starts on the afternoon. a large selection of choices, including vegetarian options. I had the classic burger that was homemade. portions were very good and cheap, but has a high end selection on the menu. a good place to meet and socialize with friend and family.
