The food was disappointing; it was reheated and difficult to cut. We sent the dish back, but it returned just as tough. The staff seemed equally frustrated and were arguing among themselves in the background. We won't be returning.

This is a lovely spot with a great selection of ales and cozy comfort food. The portion sizes are generous, offering great value for your money, and the quality of the food is excellent. Plus, there are stunning views of the hills leading to Manchester.

The staff were wonderful, but my partner's food was a bit cold. They graciously took it back and reheated it for us. The dessert options were somewhat limited; I was hoping for sticky toffee pudding, but the lemon meringue pie we chose ended up being quite nice. Thank you, we will definitely be returning! View menu

I went there for Sunday lunch and placed my order, but after a bit of a wait, the meals arrived lukewarm. I asked if they could heat them up, and they kindly provided two fresh meals, which were hot and delicious. For dessert, I chose the crème brûlée, but I found the portion to be quite small for the price.
