"Went for lunch. Limited parking. Decor is a little bit tired but cosy and clean. Not sure what to expect but the fact that the car park was full lets you know We had an absolutely fantastic lunch. Smoked, thickly sliced ham, 2 eggs and lovely chips. My partner had chicken and leek pie..superb pastry and full to the brim with large chunks of chicken. Chatted to the owners who were so friendly and funny. A no frills pub just good down to earth grub. We will be back even though we have to drive from Hereford. Thanks for a lovely welcome. Fantastic pub. Down to earth, very friendly staff and landlord, great food, good beer, everything you could want from a small village pub. Sadly though, it will be in the sea in around 25 years. Such a shame. Grade2 listed building, been there since 1540. All going due to lack of investment in sea defences

impromptu visit after a walk along the cliffs. the personal was friendly and accommodating; the natives were alive. it was nice to see families together that are getting up. only four stars like the toilets are in what feels like an outbuilding; not for the subtle heart! but the warm environment more than created for it!

One of the best old pubs on this stretch of the coast, well kept ales and the food was top notch both Sunday lunch and midweek. I've been coming to this place since my childhood and it's never changed except for the internal walls being removed. Well worth a visit before the mighty North sea swallows it up like so much of the surrounding coastline.
