"I had a wonderful experience on a cozy Friday night at The Hive's outdoor seating area, enjoying the welcoming atmosphere with both regular patrons and locals alike. The menu offers a diverse selection of dishes, and the chef was accommodating in veganizing some items for me, which I truly appreciated. The prices were reasonable considering the excellent quality, especially when compared to other restaurants in the area. The staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic dining experience. Unfortunately, I was too hungry to take photos of everything, but overall, it was a fantastic meal that I thoroughly enjoyed."

We had a lovely visit to The Hive in Loughton for a burger and chips date night, and were impressed by the warm decor, especially the beehive chairs. The customer service was excellent, with attentive and personable staff. The chips were perfectly cooked - soft yet crispy, the coleslaw was delicious enough to enjoy on its own, and the burger was juicy. We would definitely recommend this restaurant. The average price per person is between £20–30. Overall, we give the food a rating of 5 out of 5.
