Always delicious, fabulous Sunday lunches too! Very friendly and attentive staff and always busy, nice and cosy in the Winter.

Went to Holywell (again) this time to celebrate another birthday and had a most wonderful meal with fabulous food. All three courses were presented beautifully( as usual)and the food and plates were piping hot when serving hot courses.

Just called in on Fri 8/11/19 for a meal. the landlord was very accommodating and the food was to die for. I would rate this establishment as one of the best in the area. The only drawback was they only served bottled ale (although it was good local ales). will definitely be returning.

Having already experienced a Christmas lunch at the Holywell the choice of venue for a future celebration was never going to be difficult. Having booked 2 weeks in advance our family gathering of 8 adults and 4 grandsons arrived in good time for the Sunday Lunch. This for my wife and I was to mark our special 2019 birthdays (we were both January babes). Warm welcome, a friendly cosy atmosphere, excellent food and service, this pub ticks all the boxes. We have been frequenting this pub for many years, but after moving away, we decided to make a special trip back and were not disappointed. The owners have recently added a beautiful self-contained holiday let called the "Snuggery" in the old part of the pub. Vic and Paulette, the owners, gave us a warm welcome and showed us to our room, which included a lounge, kitchen, and a lovely bedroom with an en suite bathroom.
