"My friend and I spontaneously booked a night at this hotel on our way back home from a trip up North, along with my friend's small dog. The booking process was easy and we arrived around 8pm. Despite previously declining a dinner reservation, the hotel was happy to accommodate us for dinner. The meal was delicious! Our twin room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The en suite bathroom and shower were fantastic, with minimal noise reaching our room. The best part was the French doors that opened up to a stunning view. We were on the top floor and had a great view of the loch and hills. The only downside was the traffic noise from the main road below, but the room and view were definitely worth the price we paid. There was easy access from the car park to walk down to the loch side and we enjoyed a long walk along the cycle/walk trail with the dog at sunrise. Breakfast was included in the price and it was lovely, with a self-service continental option and a choice of cooked breakfast. The food was of high quality and my dog enjoyed her sausage. Dog owners were seated separately with their pets in the bar area, but it was laid out similarly to the rest of the dining area with window seating and beautiful views. This also ensured that other guests were not bothered by dogs during mealtimes. We felt well taken care of and the staff were all very friendly. We had a great time and will definitely be back to this excellent value for money hotel."

The most overpriced poorest quality food on Loch Lomond. £17 for a half portion of fish and chips with dried up chips. Terrible

Really great and easy place to stay booked last minute. Great staff who went out of their way given late arrival and early departures.

We stayed on a wowcher deal and upgraded to a loch facing room, room was nice we could tell they are making some improvements. Bathroom needed upgrading but it was spotless and bed so comfortable. Staff so friendly especially Conner who made us feel welcome. Only niggle was after dinner service was slow and plates not cleared away and we wanted dessert but waited too long so left it. But we would return it was a great base to visit the jail, loch lomond shores, boat trip.

We had the pleasure of spending the night at the hotel, enjoying both dinner and breakfast the next morning. Our room with a view of the Loch was cozy and of a high standard that we really liked. We could glimpse the Loch through the trees and even took a stroll down to the water before dinner. I must give credit to the chef for exceeding our expectations with both meals. The steak I ordered was the most delicious I have ever tasted, and my wife raved about her exceptional fish and chips. Breakfast was excellent, and the quality of the food alone would entice me to come back again.

We booked and paid for the executive room for our anniversary overnight and it didn’t feel very executive it was a bit dated to be honest. The pictures do look better on the website (as they would we had a few issues with this hotel 1. the shower knob kept falling off and making big chunks in the shower tray (health and safety issue 2. Any time we tried to order a cocktail they had ran out of the ingredients to make it not very good for a bar is it 3. They also ran out of the local beer They staff were nice and friendly and no issues there at all it was just the room let it down a bit . Maybe I was expecting more from and executive room DBB Dinner was great so was breakfast very tasty food s...

My husband and I bought a wowcher deal and it was definitely worth it! We got 2 course dinner, bed and breakfast. Both of us had soup, he had the carrot and coriander and I had the Cullen skink. I had to pay a small supplement as it wasn’t included in the dbb offer. I then had the fish and chips which were excellent, my husband had the macaroni cheese and fries. He said it was one of best he tasted! It was such a large portion he couldn’t finish it. We had a Loch facing room which was brilliant, gorgeous scenery! All staff were so friendly and helpful. The bed was so comfortable. There was no lifts in the building which we didn’t mind but it was a little trail to get to our room on the secon...

I booked a night at the Inn on Loch Lomond as a surprise for my wife's 60th birthday. I requested a bottle of prosecco and chocolate dipped strawberries to be in our room upon arrival, which the receptionist quickly arranged. We stayed in a Ben Lomond room, which was wheelchair accessible and had a stunning view of Ben Lomond. The room was spacious and well-equipped, with a large bed, flat-screen TV, and a modern wet room with chrome grab rails. For dinner, we were seated at a Loch view table by the restaurant manager, Douglas, who also surprised us with complimentary prosecco. We both enjoyed our main courses and desserts, with my wife ordering Haggis, Neeps and Tatties and myself opting fo...
