"Despite having made a reservation in advance, we were kept waiting for 30 minutes by the entrance. The restaurant had a vibe more reminiscent of a teenage bar, with cramped tables that were too close to each other. The music was blaring, making it difficult to communicate with each other or the waiter. The food was below average, with our starters taking over 30 minutes to arrive. The mussels were passable, but the duck was overcooked. Our main course, the chateaubriand, turned out to be a poorly cooked piece of steak. We had ordered fries but received frozen chips instead. The only redeeming aspect of our dining experience was the elderly Italian waiter, who was very helpful. Despite our complaints, we were only offered a 20% discount, which did little to make up for our overall poor experience. We had expected a high-end dining experience, but this restaurant fell far short of establishments like The Butcher Shop, Grill on the Corner, or Porter Rye. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant altogether."

Last minute booking, Excellent food, even better value, first class service. Very quiet at our visit, so can not judge how it would be if really busy. Definitely recommend.

I was the only one in the restaurant for my birthday, ordered a bottle of wine, 2 starters, 2 steaks, and no desserts. The service was slow and there was no one else to serve. My friend ended up spending nearly £100 for the meal. I was shocked when she told me weeks later. If I had known at the time, I would have definitely expressed my dissatisfaction.

I ordered the chicken dish, which was okay but came with very little salad or vegetables. My wife ordered the steak and requested it to be cooked very well done, but it came out with blood. We ended up taking it home in a doggy bag for our dog. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this establishment to others. It seems that Groupon does not thoroughly check the places they promote, and we felt that it was poor value for money. We do not plan on returning in the future.
