"My husband treated me to the 5-course tasting menu for my birthday, which included a glass of champagne for £65 per person. The meal itself was pleasant, with good portion sizes, tasty food, and friendly service. The jazz music added to the atmosphere without being too loud to carry on a conversation. However, the prices for drinks were steep, with a glass of rose costing £15 and the cheapest bottle priced at £60, which we found to be excessive. The lounge we were seated in for pre-dinner drinks was beautifully decorated, but unfortunately, the strong smell of cigar smoke and constant use of the cold outside door made it uncomfortable. Due to these factors, we do not recommend this venue and do not plan to return."

During our first visit to this restaurant, we took advantage of a meal package that included a Bellini, three courses, and coffee. The food was outstanding and the service was top-notch.

The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, with a pleasant singer and pianist. The food was mostly delicious, with a tasty appetizer and excellent dessert. However, the main dish was a bit disappointing and seemed ordinary compared to the rest of the meal.

My wife and I only decided to dine at this restaurant because of a deal, but it was definitely worth it. The menu options for the deal were great and the service was excellent. The food was delicious and although the atmosphere was lacking, it was nice to be able to have a quiet meal without too much noise. Overall, worth a visit at least once.

I had a wonderful time celebrating my partner's birthday in the Jazz lounge. We enjoyed the tasting menu with wine pairings for each course, and every dish was delicious. Despite there being only four other couples present, it did not detract from the ambiance. The Jazz duo performed fantastically all evening. I would highly recommend this place for a special occasion.

I am always pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoy a good afternoon tea, which I often write about on my blog. After trying numerous scenes, finger sandwiches, and miniature cakes, I have compiled a list of favorites that I always go back to and would enthusiastically recommend. The afternoon tea at The Wellesley is filled with delicious and delightful treats that I highly recommend.

It has been a while since my last visit to The Wellesley. I always tell myself that I will go for dinner or drinks again, but living in London often means that the things closest to us can be easily forgotten. With this in mind, we finally returned to The Wellesley to try their latest offering - the Sweet Summer Afternoon Tea. In the glamorous jazz lounge, we were delighted to find a live pianist playing a selection of popular songs, while we enjoyed a stunning afternoon tea served by the attentive staff.
