"I loved this little jewel of a place. the personal was friendly and well-kept, but not annoying (they left us alone to enjoy our meal in peace) eating is amazing! my sister said it's the best cake she ever had. I think I agree, great, traditional pub with excellent food. we will definitely come back."

Have always loved the Jugged Hare, but hadn’t been for a few years until recently. Glad to see it hasn’t changed...other than getting better. Best pies in town!!

excellent and beautiful friendly service in contrast to the red lions where the personal was unfriendly. good pub food, cake at a good level, enough beer available, mjamm brownie

my wife and I held 3 nights in london and we ate here 2 nights. Eat and ale were great and the staff was amazing (especially chantal!) if we were here longer, we would eat here every night! View menu

a nice pub. pity that it is on the vauxhall bridge road (very ugly and busy). I didn't cost the food, but they got a few nice ales. the outside of the pub looks very big, with its columns, because it was a natwest bank earlier!

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
