The Junction Tavern

This restaurant is a significant improvement from what I remember of the junction. Can't wait to come back again.

Under new management and having been redecorated, it is now a nice pub with it's own identity. If you prefer a pub to a chain then this is a good bet.

Sometimes you can truly wonder about the accuracy of Trip Adviser, not only was the information 3 years out of date but I received further emails suggesting I might want to go and take a look.

They’ve really turned this pub around, the music is great and so is the food. Me a friend tried the steak and wow, I’ve never had a steak cooked to such perfection. I will definitely be returning!

We have finally found the ideal neighborhood pub we have been looking for. The food is excellent and reasonably priced, with a good variety of drinks available as well. I do wish they served coke from a fountain rather than from large plastic bottles, as it tastes better that way. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. View menu

We are local and ever since this place re-opened, we've been coming for drinks and food. All I can say is that they improve everytime we come here which is regularly! Today my husband loved the starter so much (ordered as a snack! he ended up ordering two!! Spanish tortilla, my husbands Spanish, and it was as good as his mum's, dads and aunties in Spain!! keep going guys

Very disappointed, wanted to visit this pub since it reopened as we live in Polegate. Ordered the roast as it was Sunday, but it was almost inedible, the carrots were raw, the creamed cabbage was cold, the Yorkshire was hard and solid and the beef was as tough as old boots. My husband had Turkey and eat most his only because he was hungry after waiting an hour for our food. However given two stars as the staff were very friendly and helpful and did not charge me for my main course.

Came here for the first time today with a friend for lunch. Wasn't sure what to expect but wasn't disappointed. Had a lovely lunch at £12 for 2 courses. Choices for starters included baked camembert, smoked salmon and scallops. Mains included sirloin steak, pork, lamb chops with choice of potatoes. We both had the camembert and the steak. Both cooked to perfection. Lovely decor throughout (loved the Giles cartoons papering the toilet) and the lad behind the bar and serving us was very friendly and welcoming.
