"we had lunch on Saturday afternoon. beautiful cozy atmosphere. the food was average. the only thing it brought down was how slow the service was! I understand it was Saturday afternoon, but they could really do some extra hands in there. we had to wait old before we even offered a drink, and then our food took so long to get out. we would have had an additional drink and pudding, but we could have been there all night if we had ordered us! not even an apology of anyone about the waiting time for service or waiting for food. I wouldn't hurry."

new favourite place to eat! since December they really went to the place for the better and all the staff so helpful and friendly changed. buggies can be a pain with doors and every time a worker insists on helping me. will be much more!

Came across the pub pretty serendipitously and really like it. Beautifully decorated interior, wooden bar and exudiates plenty of historic vibes. Excellent beer garden with designated play area for children. Staff very welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back and hope to book a room for the night

beautiful pub we had to visit! we are descendants in winchester and knew we were here to visit to tickle it from the small pub group from our list. it was not disappointed and not even the weather could moisten our mood as soon as we arrived. we have dinner here after jack showed us the dinner menu and it was delicious. it was great to hear that they now have accommodation and maybe have to try it next time! fantastic place and highly recommended!
